Hi! Im Lucy and today i move into my new school. I am just about to start my first year of sixth form at St Simsons Academy. I am excited but also nervous. Im happy to be able to share my journey with you.
The room is massive much bigger than i expected it to be. I sat down on the bed and watched as new and old students said goodbye to their parents until our first break in October. I live with my mum at home but she is always travelling for work and right now she is in Australia so i never get emotional at having to say bye to her and almost always spend the hoilday's at whatever boarding school i am at. Its okay but i guess its not ideal.
"Hi i'm Hanna, i'm your new roomate."
"Hey nice to meet you i'm Lucy"
Hanna had blonde long hair and was wearing jogging bottoms and a plain t-shirt. Moving in outfit i gathered. I had the same outfit i wear every time i move into school every year, a baseball t-shirt and blue jeans. She was the opposite to me. I have dark black hair and am very fair.
That afternoon me and Hanna got to know each other and found out we had very similar interests. I soon found myself relaxing and becoming myself around her and i knew we were going to get on like a house on fire. I found out that she has a boyfriend called Sam who was throwing a party tonight, which i am now attending thanks to Hanna. I am not a huge party fan though. I am not a big drinker, in fact i have never had a drink in my life and i'm not the most sociable person in the world.
Maybe that will change though, maybe this will be a new beginning for me. I hope it is.
