Dinner was LIT *Chapter 8*

So after you guys got dressed you headed to the restaurant to meet Felix and his friends. When you got there Jack and Mark said hey to Felix and hugged him along with his friends. You and Mark sat beside each other and Jack sat across the table from you. You felt awkward because you knew that you would be starring at him the whole time. "This is a nice ass restaurant" you thought to yourself ( or at least you thought you said it in your head) "What was that (Y/N)" Mark said giggling at you

. "Man i said that out loud" you said looking down because you were blushing from embarrassment. The night was full of laughs,  jokes , and just getting to know everyone. You met Bob and Wade their friends and you finally felt at home with the gang you clicked with everyone. " So (Y/N) i saw someone tweet me that you had a big crush on me" Jack said leaning across the table. Bob, Wade and Felix all made noises and gasping "is it true" said Jack. "so over dramatic" you chuckled at the group. 

Before you could even open your mouth to speak Mark blurted out "It's false because she obviously loves me" He said jokingly while grabbing you and pulling you closer to him. "Totally , I believe it lovebirds" said the waitress coming around the table trying joke along. "So Mark whens the wedding?" Felix said dragging the joke on. Jack was laughing but it was clearly an uncomfortable laugh you knew he was being serious about the question when you saw him laughing. "What's wrong Jackie-poo ?" Mark said teasing him. "Nothing" Jack said uncrossing his arms. 

"Jealous she loves me." Mark said in that moment he got up to get down on one knee as he did the table cover slipped and knocked a candle onto your lap. Your dress immediately was engulfed in flames. You dropped to the floor in pain trying to get the flames to go out. The others panicked splashing their water and finally the waitress came over with a fire extinguisher and put out the flames. You were fading in and out of sleep from pain seeing red and blue flashing lights, sirens you heard Jack and Mark arguing what they were saying you couldn't make out "no" you whispered out as your eyes drifted close. 

When you finally woke up you tried to move but your hand felt heavy you looked over to see Jack sleeping. You looked around there was wires and wraps all over your body. You started to freak out and nurses rushed in to check on you waking Jack up. "(Mrs. (Y/N) calm down you're in the hospital you've been out for about three days now. You suffered some minor and other serious burns the other day but we fixed you up but now we just need you to do some recovery therapy to make sure you're good to go home." The doctor said while nurses took some of the wires away. "Just make sure you continue to rest and we'll be back to check on you and in a day or two we'll let you go home. " He said walking to the door "ok?" "Yes sir " You said feeling excited about going home soon.

 After everyone left the room Jack spoke "Hey (Y/N) I'm sorry for what happened so is Mark we kind of go into it at the restaurant but I think we're ok. Everyone has been worried about you and we all felt terrible about what happened." He said looking down. "It's ok" You said smiling. "I'm fine I promise. Only sore but who knows I'll have some pretty rad scars now so I'll be even more bad ass." You said smiling trying to convince him. "If you say so but me and the boys are going to take you out somewhere after you're out of here." he said there was a knock at the door and you told them to come in.

 It was Mark " Hey (Y/N) Jack texted me and told me you were finally up . It's been a crazy couple of days since you've been in here " he said walking into here he had a Nintendo switch and some food. "I'm very sorry (Y/N) I was just trying to joke around and didn't mean to hurt you, I hope you'll forgive me and play some games with me because I know that you've got to be bored in here." he said handing you a controller. " Yeah I forgive you it's not that big of a deal accidents happen and now I'll have some cool scars and I'm defiantly down to play some games with you.

 " You took the controller. All of you guys took turns playing the game trying to get the highest score. Jack came in first, you came in second and Mark in third. I think he felt bad for me so he let me win. Once Mark left you asked Jack to go get some food. When he left you fell asleep. The next day the doctor took off your wraps and you went to therapy, you actually did really good and your wounds were almost fully healed. "Tomorrow we'll do some more therapy and then you can go home. " the doctor said walking you back to your room.

 "Thank you " you said shutting the door. You sent Jack to get you some clothes. You decided to check your phone to see if he was on his way back. This was the first time you checked your phone since the incident. There was so many posts you were tagged in people saying " get well soon" , "I love you" & the most asked question " what happened". Jack and everyone else had kept it a secret of the events all the public knew was that you were in the hospital. You just turned off your phone and went to try to take a shower before Jack came back.
