The Not So Perfect Life

Chapter Two-Nathan

My eyes open so fast that my head jerks back to by pillow. Not knowing what time it is I go ahead and get out of bed not trying to feel the pain all over my body. 6:59 my phone clock says which means I need to get ready for school so i can leave before my father wakes up. After I get dressed and finished in the bathroom which is connected to my bedroom I go to the kitchen so that I can pack my lunch and make breakfast, and so that i can get pain medicine so that my body doesn't hurt so much it feels like someone kicked me down the stairs and just kept kicking once I hit the bottom of the steps. While walking to the kitchen all I can see is beer bottles and more beer bottles. All I can remember from last night is being pushed to the ground by father and being kicked by father saying "why can't you just stay in your room all I see in you Nathan is your cheating dead mother and I can't stand to see anything like that". Ever since my father found out that my mother was cheating on him he has been so abusive it's like he's a boxer and I'm the punching bag. It's been 4 years since my mom died why can't he just get over her all ready. It's 7:30 if I don't leave now I'll have to deal with the raft of my father again and I don't want last night to happen again this morning I already have to deal with that over Winter break. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to school since I got kicked off the bus last year for getting in a fight with a kid when he insulted me and my little sister Natalie who luckly after that fight got sent to live with our Aunt Anna and Uncle Seth. I get to school at exactly 7:55 which means I'm fine to get to class on time after I go to locker while I'm walking in I see Alyssa and Andrew Riley I hate to see them even though they did nothing wrong their dad did, he's the person my mom cheated on my dad with. Their dad is better at hiding things than my mom was.
