"Do you have any physical proof that your father is abusive?" Nathan's face turned bright red real fast and stood up like he was going to walk out the door and basically yellings, "What, do you not believe me!" As calmly as I can I say, "yes I believe you just I think we should go to the cops with this and if we do they will want some proof." Right after I said that Nathan turned around and lifted up the back of his shirt revealing what looked like shoe prints on his back. I wanted to scream it looks so bad then I see something else it looks like scratch marks so I ask " Nathan what is this mark from it looks like a scar." It surprises me when I touch the mark that he doesn't scream or tell me to stop touching it ," It's a scar from a beer bottle, a year or two ago my dad threw a beer bottle at me out of anger and if cut me so deep that I had to beg him to take me to the emergency room. He finally did the doctor said that I had lost a quarter of my blood and and it would leave a mark. When the doctors ask what happened my dad lied and said that I tripped and fell on a beer bottle, then I didn't tell him because I didn't think that it was that bad, it's in my medical file." Right after he finished talking I got up and said that I would be right back. Once I'm out of tge room I find the closes nurse and ask for her to come check my friends back and she agrees, which surprises me. When we walk in the nurse asks to see his back. I thought that Nathan was about to kill me right in front of the nurse
