Darkness.

~Klaus POV~

"No" I heard a faint voice say, "No" I heard the same voice repeat loader when I realized it was Daisy-Mai's voice I jolted awake and looked down at a sleeping Daisy-Mai, But something was off, She was shaking and she had tears streaming down her face, "Help" She shouted again, She was having a nightmare, I started shaking her and shouting her name hoping to wake her... Eventually she opened her eyes and gasped. I reached out to comfort her but as soon as I touched her she jumped and moved away "Flower? It's me, You're okay" I reassured her, "Niklaus?" she looked up at me her eyes sparkling from the tears, I knew it was bad if she used my full name, a flash of realization crossed her face as she moved closer to me and starting sobbing quietly. Stroking her hair and rubbing her back I reassured her some more, "What was it about?" I asked, when I felt her shake her head I knew she wasn't ready to talk yet so I lent back lying us both back down, ten minuets past and she sat up and looked at me her face stained from crying, "Ancient?" she said weakly "Yes darling, I'm here" After a sigh of relefe she looked at me and said "It's starting again" and by them three words I knew what she meant. 

*Flashback*

"Get off me" I heard a voice that was still a mystery to me, It's only been a week since I saved her and brought her home with me and this has happened every night since. Using my vampire speed I raced into Daisy's room which was down the hall and saw her squirming around in her bed, crying and sweating. After five minuets of trying to wake her she finally woke up gasping for air, without saying anything her sad eyes looked into my and she cuddled into my chest weeping.

*End of Flashback*

"It's okay, They can't hurt you any more" I said once more. "Klausy? I haven't had these nightmares in 500 years, why are they starting again? I'm scared" She said while fighting back tears that are forming in her eyes once more. "I don't know love, I don't know" I replied while hugging her tighter showing her I'd never let anyone hurt her after half an hour she was back asleep, slowly creeping out of bed trying not to wake her up I used my speed to race to Cammie's room "Cam? you up?" I said while opening the curtains so the sun was shining on her face, "I am now, Whats wrong?" She replied sleepily "Daisy's just had a nightmare" I said in a panic "So?" She replied simply "So... She hasn't had a nightmare in 500 years and when she did it was always the same, he parents hurting her" I said feeling the anger filling me up inside "When people have recurring nightmares it's usually because they have something on their mind or they're scared its going to happen again" She said getting up and putting her hair in a messy bun. our conversation was interrupted by Daisy leaning against the door post "I'm going out, I can't sleep" She announced before going back to her room to get changed, a short 15 minuets later I heard the door slam, I knew it was the best thing for her going to get her mind off it but I couldn't help but want her to stay here where I knew she was safe so I picked up my phone and ran a number I never wanted to use.

"Hello?"

"It's me, Can you do me a favor?"

"Sure"

"Ask Daisy to meet you at the grill and Look after her please, She had a nightmare last night and I'm scared she's going to get drunk and do something reckless"

"Ok, I'll text you when I'm with her"

"Thank-you Damon" and with that I hung up

~Daisy-Mai's POV~

All I wanted to do was get drunk and forget my nightmare. I don't know why they've started again but I wish they would go away. My thought were interrupted by a text from Damon 'Hey Daise, Meet me at the grill in 5, I'll be at the bar waiting for you with a bourbon ready, You know you can't say no to your favorite Salvatore. Damon xx' His arrogance made me laugh and I replied 'Stefan's not asking me but I'm on my way there anyway see you soon D xo' pressing send and locking my phone and putting it back in my pocket.

I could have used my Vampire speed to get there quicker but I like walking for some reason so after a short 10 minuet walk I got to the grill and I walked in the door looking for Damon but instead my eyes locked with a familiar green pair almost identical to mine and I froze in my place and let out a piercing scream, before everything went black all I could see was Damon's eyes locking with mine as I fell to the ground welcoming the darkness.
