"Name please?"
"Blake Taylors."
"Welcome to Sunset Valley High School. Should I should you to your classroom?" the front desk lady asks.
"No that's okay, thank you though. I know where everything is." I say.
"Ok then. If you need anything just call the office." she says.
"Thank you." I say as a smile and walk out of the office.
Here it is. My high school.
Let me clarify, the high school I'll be teaching at for a while. I really like the school, it reminds me of my high school.
I was shown around the school yesterday, so I kind of have an idea of where I'm going.
Gotta find the math hallway somewhere.
I eventually find my way to my classroom. School starts tomorrow and I have everything in my classroom ready for the most part. I spent the past few days working on it, along with the help of the custodians and other friendly staff members that names I don't know.
After adding some finishing touches, I head to the math hallway teacher's lounge.
Good going Blake. You didn't bring any food.
I look in the fridge to see what they have. YES! Uneaten chipotle! Ugh I wish! Someone's name is written on it though--
"Um that's my food."
I turn to the voice suddenly, startled by the rudeness in their tone.
"Oh I'm sorry, I know. I was just looking to see what food was in here. That's all. I-I I'm not hungry."
Smooth.
The guy (must I say, sexy son of a bitch) stood there propped against the wall.
"Well you wouldn't be looking if you weren't hungry." He rolls his eyes and takes a deep breath. "Look, I know you're new, but we have a strict rule here in the lounge. You eat the food that has your name on it. If it doesn't have a name, you can have it." He walks over and towers over me.
My Lord, he's tall. And I'm 5'8.
He grabs the food from my hands and looks down at me with stern eyes.
"You see how this has a LL on it? Yeah, that's my initials, Logan Levy. Leave it alone." He turns around and walks out.
What a rude guy. You know, he is hot as hell, but damn, he is such a jerk! I just picked it up; he's so protective of his food.
I walk back to my classroom to finish the last details before school starts tomorrow.
Logan's P.O.V.
I head back to my classroom feeling like a wreck. Just seeing her makes me so confused. I've never felt like this before. When I saw her I completely lost my train of thought.
I was so angry when I saw someone holding my food. (I love my food, if you can't already tell.) But when I saw her, in that instant, I knew I wanted to make her mine.
I instantly regretted how our first conversation went. I always put up a defense mechanism when I feel vulnerable. It's something I've always hated about myself.
I need to talk to her. I need to make this right.
Let me know what you think! Do you want more chapter??
