Chapter 6: Tour

"Hey Sarah, your going to your moms today and monday because you stayed with me an extra day."

"Ok" I said sorta dissapointed.

I didn't wanna stay with my mom an extra day.

"Go and grab your bag, I'll get the car ready" My dad said grabbing his keys.

"Ok" I said trudging up the stairs.

We got to my moms house and my dad stopped me before I got out.

"Don't tell your mom about the concert, ok? I love you" He said giving me a kiss.

"Alright dad love you to!" I said getting out of the car.

"See you on Tuesday?"

"Yep!" I said walking up to my moms door.

I walked in and yelled "MOM I'M HERE!"

"Hi honey!!!!!"

"Hi mom" I said walking up to my room and putting my bag down.

I took out some drumsticks and took out my drum pad.

I started druming and started writing stuff.

"SARAH!"

"God dammnit" I said to myself walking down the stairs.

"Yea mom"

"So, what did you do on saturday"

"You know, just hung out with dad. We sorta had a father/daughter day" I am such a great liar.

"Fun! What did you guys do."

"Oh, we went to go see The Muppets and we got dinner at Applebees."

"Ooooo yummy."

"Yea, I'm going to go practice my drumming some more."

"Before you go, I have a letter for you"

"Hmm?" I asked confused, walking back over to her.

"Yea, from someone named.... CC."

"Really?"

"Yea... Who is this... CC."

"Oh, it's just a pen pal that we were forced to write to in school and I must have gave her this address once on accident, I usually give her dads address."

"Your LYING!" She said throwing the letter on the ground.

"NO IM NOT!" I said picking the letter up and opening in but it was already open.

"Mom, why is this open."

"It was mystyrious so I opened it-"

"WHY?!?!"

"IM YOUR MOTHER I NEED TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE!"

"NO YOU DONT! DAD ALREADY KNOWS SO YOU DONT!"

"WELL I DO SO WHATS THIS CONCERT HES TALKING ABOUT!"

I opened up the letter and read it.

Sarah

I can't wait for you to come to the concert.

I am sooooo excited.

I can't WAIT! to meet you.

Remember to come backstage because I can't see the crowd from the back of the stage.
