Ch.1 Jealous

Finally, another Joshaya story! I am so loving this ship right now, it will always be my OTP next to Rucas. So I hope you all enjoy this new story :)

One day at Abigail Adams High, as everyone headed to their classes, Lucas and Josh headed down the hall.

"I can't believe you're actually gonna be going to our school the whole week" Lucas said.

"Yeah" Josh agreed "I get to observe what high school students do now a days. You know I thought I wouldn't be able to do this, but turns out it's not that bad. What was I so worried about?"

But as Lucas was about to go into his class, he spotted Maya talking to a guy with smiles. At that point he quickly covered Josh's eyes and pushed him into the lockers.

"What are you doing?" Josh asked "Is there a surprise party for me and you don't want me to see? Oh you guys are so kind."

"No" Lucas said as he moved his hand away "The game we're playing is called 'Protect you from the uh bulldozer in the jean jacket."

"What are you talking about?" Josh asked as he peeked into the class to see Maya talking to the guy "Oh."

He pulled away with a sad look and leaned himself against the lockers and he slid down and sat on the floor.

"Aww look what the bulldozer did to you" Lucas said as he sat next to him.

"Lucas who's that guy?" Josh asked.

"Marcus Bradford, Missy Bradford's brother."

"Missy Bradford, as in-".

"The girl who flirted with me which made Riley jealous, yeah that girl."

"Wow."

"You okay?"

"I don't know" Josh sighed "I mean, there's other guys in the world, and they're gonna be talking to Maya."

"Hey who knows, maybe they're just friends."

Josh then gave another sigh.

"You know what?" he said "I think I"m gonna go."

"What?" Lucas said surprised as they got up.

"I can do this some other time."

"No you're not, just because you saw Maya talking to another guy doesn't mean you have to go. You are going in there, and you're gonna stay there."

"Yeah I'm good" Josh said as he started to go.

But Lucas grabbed onto his shirt collar and pulled him into the class. Now in the classroom, Josh watched as his older brother taught the class a lesson.

"Any of you remember the lesson on the Sneak Attack?" he asked "That date we should remember."

"Date?" Josh mumbled with a sad look "We're going on a date."

"No" Lucas said "You're in history."

"I'm history?"

Lucas then gave a sigh.

"Put your hand up" he raised Josh's hand up.

"Yes Josh?" Cory said as Josh hesitated.

"May I be excuse?" Lucas whispered to him.

"May I see my shoes?" Josh mumbled.

Lucas gave another sigh as he turned to Cory and motioned him to look at Maya who was smiling at Marcus. Realizing what was going on, Cory turned to Josh.

"Sure Josh you can be excused" he said.

"Forever?" Josh mumbled.

"No you have to come back at some point you just gotta."

So Josh got up with a depressed look and his head down as he headed to the wall, but Cory pushed him into the door entrance as he went out the classroom. But as Cory continued the lesson, Josh suddenly went to the window and peeked through at Maya.

"You like going to the movies?" Marcus asked Maya.

But as Maya thought about it, she didn't notice Farkle watching them.

"It depends who I'm going with" she said as Josh pressed his face against the glass and kept his eyes on them.

"If we go to a horror movie, you know I'll take care of you."

"Just, you and me?"

"Of course" he smiled as he started to twirl her hair "Just you and me."

As he watched Marcuse twirl Maya's hair, Josh gave a mad look with his face still pressed against the window. But as he took a step closer, he suddenly tripped on a loose shoelace as he gave a small shriek before falling to the floor with a thud.

"What was that?" Riley asked.

"Oh boy" Lucas sighed, realizing it was Josh.

When Josh got back up, he saw that everyone was staring at him through the window. He gave an embarrassed smile before running off. After class, Farkle, Zay, Riley, and Lucas went up to Josh who had his head inside of a locker as he laid on the floor.

"You want us to bring you food?" Farkle asked.

"No" Josh mumbled "Food will just keep me alive."

"Come on little Joshie" Riley smirked "Come out into the sun."

"I can't believe I made myself look like a fool in front of everyone."

"Oh that was awesome" Zay chuckled as everyone frowned at him "Oh sorry."

"Oh there you are" Marcus suddenly came up to them as he turned to Josh "I've been looking for you."

"Why?" Josh asked.

"Because Maya's told me about you, and I hope you're not upset with me, I didn't know you and Maya were together."

"We're not" he sighed.

"Yeah that's what I thought" Marcus smirked "So I hope you don't mind if I ask her out, cause she's really hot, don't you think."

Josh just gave a sad look.

"You know" Lucas said Marcus "You're just like your sister, we never liked her."

"Yeah well, I think Maya likes me, she seems kinda into me, shocker."

And with that he walked away.

"I live here now" Josh said sadly.

After school, Josh and Lucas sat at Riley's bay window.

"What do I do man?" Josh asked "Marcus is gonna ask Maya out, and she might say yes. They could go see a horror movie. 'If we go a horror movie, you know I'll take care of you'" he mimicked Marcus's voice in teasing way.

Lucas just sat there with a weird look.

"Barf!" Josh exclaimed "Barf I say!"

"Josh" Lucas smiled "Do you want to take Maya to the movies?"

"I don't know" he sighed.

"Then what do you want?"

"I just don't want her with Marcus. Oh man, am I jealous?"

"Well let's see, you tried to leave today, you mixed up your words, you spied on Maya and Marcus through the window, and you wouldn't leave from the locker for 3 hours. So yeah you're jealous."
