Kylie's POV

''He forced you to let him drive you home? Wow, I'm adding 'control freak' to my list about him'' Alexis replied on the phone, I sat on my bed in my room. I was currently telling her about what happened last night with George. It was kinda scary when he got all mad and snappy, but from what Alexis said, he's always like that.

''Yeah and when I said thanks, like a polite person, guess how he replies?'' I asked.

''With some snappy or mean remark, I'm guessing'' She answered

''Correct! He replied with 'That wasn't too hard, now was it?'' I mumbled.

''Jerk.. now you know why Josh and I wanted you to stay away from him'' She exclaimed

I sighed, before running my finger through my hair, ''he seems somewhat nice at first''

''Of course he would, but his dark side will always come out'' She told me.

''Josh wasn't very happy either'' I replied

''Well, what do you expect?''

''I don't know, he just seemed different'' I said.

''Just stay away from him tomorrow at school, okay? And if he bugs you ignore him and walk away, or I'll help you!'' She reassured me.

''Good, thanks!'' I replied.

''Of course, what are best friends for?'' She told me.

********

The next day at school wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. He didn't really looked at me or try to bother me, which somewhat bothered and relieved me. I sat next to Alexis at the lunch table, while peeling my orange. George sat with his usual group of friends and with poor JJ, who sat there awkwardly. I felt really bad for him. Maybe I should help him..

I slowly walked over to their table, leaving behind a confused Alexis and Josh.

''Hey JJ'' I greeted.

He looked up, surprised that I had acknowleged him, ''Uhm... Hello..''

''Wanna come sit with us?'' I asked, gesturing him to my friends table.

''Uhm... well--'' he started but cut out off by George. ''No, he doens't''

''I wasn't talking to you'' I grumbled.

''He's with us,. now back off'' He glared

''Just stay out of it George. It's JJ's decision. So, what do you say JJ?'' I asked once again.

''Uhm... S-sure..'' He said, while slowly standing with his lunch tray. I smirked at George's angry face, while walking back with JJ.

Everyone was surprised at my table, but I quietly introduces them to JJ, and they sunddely became friends with him. I felt happy that JJ actually is smiling. He always seemed gloomy and sad with George and his gang.

But now he seemed to be enjoyed himself. But George was basically galring into the back of my head, which I ignored. I'm gonna waste anymore time on him, he's not worth it. But I can't help but have this nagging feeling in the back of my head saying that he is worth it. I shook it off and continued talking with my friends.
