Introduction to Wattpad Users

Hello there, welcome to Wattpad Challenges.

What are the Wattpad Challenges?
We are simply "games" to make your writing a little more fun for you. It is mostly for the people who have unshared ideas and they want to get them out there somehow! It's a very harmless competition to compete in and we can guarantee it's fun too!

How does this work?
It's very simple. Every weekend we will come up with a new challenge for writers. Don't know what the challenges are? We can explain!

These challenges are more like writing prompts but way more fun! I'll give an example.

Say we post a challenge "Colors!" okay? We will give you options to choose from, much like an SOL test.
Let's say your choices are,
Red
Blue
Yellow
Orange and
Purple.
Then, you will come up with a 1,000 (or higher) word story just by looking at the words.

Another example,
We post a challenge "Songs!"
Your choices are,
Birthday - Katy Perry
Dark Horse - Katy Perry
Elastic Heart - Sia
Cheap Thrills - Sia

If you don't already know the songs of choice, just look them up. Simple. And from the lyrics, you and your creative little mind can come up with a short story just by listening to the song. I hope this isn't too confusing.

Be as creative as you want!

Anyone can enter. Nobody is left out! We will start out with 1 winner chosen by the end of the next week for each option. (So you have 14 days to come up with a story after every challenge is posted. Deadline will always be Sunday)

There is a limit on how many people can enter, sorry!
After the limit is hit, we will close the challenge but don't worry! There will be another challenge if you just happen to miss it!
We do not judge the stories until all entries are in!

How do I enter?
1) Tell us what challenge you want to do compete in.
2) Your name and/or pen name.
3) Answer a small survey
4) Turn in a story before the deadline.
You will be messaged if you have been entered or if you have missed your chance to enter )):

Easy.
We do have rules too.
1) Absolutely no late entries (unless you have already entered the challenge and are late turning in your story)
2) A link of where we can view your story must be sent to us. Do not send a story in a message, it may be lost.
3) Your story has to be 1,000 words or higher.
4) Your story has to have something to do with your challenge of choice. Anything off topic will not be accepted.
5) Absolutely NO plagiarism.
6) Make sure you warn us with the proper tags (Trigger Warning/NSFW)
7) Your story must have a title (it makes our job a bit easier)
8) You do not have to write a story, if you so happen to already have one that fits a challenge don't be afraid to send it in!
9) Respect the rules.
