The Dare

A brunette about the age of 25 laid on the couch, watching tv, although it seemed a bit too boring, she still watched it. Her phone was starting to ring like crazy from the phone call she was receiving, she looked at the screen to see her best friend Tyler, a blonde haired man who likes to hang out and date girls like any other male. With the roll of her eyes she answered "yes Ty" she spoke with a fake annoyance. She can never be really annoyed at him, "Hey Amanda I want you to meet me and my friends at mountains tonight for a Bonfire" he said, it was summer in Virginia and what do you do when It's summer, have a bonfire.
      Amanda closed her green eyes as she said "alright Tyler, I'll meet you there" she said as she sat up "great I'll see you there" he said hanging up the phone. Amanda stood from the couch and we to get ready for tonight. It was only 6:39 so it won't be long to it, Amanda went upstairs to her room. She got dressed into a one piece outfit the legs were longer to her ankles, she grabs her bag and starts to walk downstairs, she headed towards the door, she grabbed her car keys and walked out the door and walked towards her car, it was a red BMW with leather seats in the front and back, she sat down in the car and headed towards the mountains, and in the mountains where caves the other adults called the Forbidden Caves, the Forbidden Caves were explored long ago by the people of the town, mainly the men and her mom. Her mom never really told her what was in them, but she did say they was dangerous.
      Amanda never really believed her, or her peer's parents, who also said that those cave were dangerous. Amanda always felt like their hiding something from the children and the teenagers of the town, she couldn't place it in her mind. Amanda drove towards the mountains and saw a blonde haired boy with blue eyes and backwards hat. "Hey Tyler!" She called to her best friend she's known ever since she was 4 years old. Tyler looked up and smiled "hey Amanda" he said back smiling. Another boy that sat next to Tyler was a brunette with brown eyes, "hey Rich" she said smiling, Richard or Rich smiled back. Amanda sat down with Tyler and the trio started to talk while more people showed up.
     All laughed and played with each other, some men sat with their girlfriends, others were playing with with fire and some having s'mores. Amanda was sitting there watching the caves, sometimes she was watched the caves incase something would come out of it. The caves were the only thing visible to the naked eye and could be clearly seen through the trees at the mountain's base. It was a still light out strangely, for it usually gets dark around 6 to 7:30, something was clearly not right. Amanda looked upon the group of 7,  who were chatting among themselves, when a brunette haired man looked at her with his girlfriend on his lap "yo Amanda, what's up?" He asked asked with a smirk. Amanda looked at him "the sky seems to not what to  go dark tonight" she stated as the man looked at the sky and smiled childishly. "Great we can go still explore the caves" he said "Aaron, our parents told us not to go in there, besides, it's to childish" stated his girlfriend "Tia, we're adults, we can do as we please cause it's our right" he stated, even true their parents are not there, Aaron acts like an overgrown child.
       Tia only shook her head and sighed, Amanda looked at the caves again. She watched the caves some more as Aaron smiles mischievously, "hey Amanda I dare you to go into the Forbidden cave" everyone looked at Aaron like he had gone crazy like the Joker. "Aaron, have you gone insane, you know all to well we're not supposed to be in..." Her friend got cut off by Aaron "David do you always follow rules or do you be a rebel, I'm was and still am a rebel" he called to a black haired man named David. Amanda stands up and states "why don't we all go into the caves, unless you to chicken to go in with me" Aaron gave a looked at shock as Amanda crossed her eyes and waited, from the corner of Tia's eye she saw a bright light coming from the cave. "Look!" She said as they all look.
     Amanda was awe by the colors, the light was purple and blue. All looked at it, the light disappeared as quickly as it came. Subconsciously Amanda walked forward, she looked at the group who were also staring at the caves, "what to do the dare now?" Amanda asked, Aaron gave a nod as she looked at the others. Who were still starring at the cave, Aaron narrowed his eyes and said "let's go" and with that he walks towards the cave with Amanda following him.
