~ Chapter 10 Part 1 ~

Aileen POV

After talking with Michelle and Courtney, Aria told us to come downstairs to eat dinner.

When I went downstairs, I noticed that Cassie and Alejandro made us spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread.

Aria was already seated, so we sat down to eat eat with her.

The table seated six people, so Courtney sat next to her and me and and Michelle sat together.

While we were eating, I heard nosiness coming from the kitchen, so I guessed that Cassie and Alejandro were clean up.

"So Aileen" Aria said. "How do you like it here".

"It's amazing" I tells her. "Thank you so much for allowing me to like here and adopting me. I really appreciate you bringing me into your family".

"Well than, it's my pleasure having you. You seem like an amazing young woman. I hope you enjoy living with us" Aria told me with a smile on her face.

"I'm really happy that you adopted me, but may I ask why" I ask her.

"Well after my husband died of cancer a year ago, I felt empty. So, I decide to adopt someone to fill that empty hole. Also the girls have been saying that they want a little sister that they can talk and share things with, so I thought it would be a great idea to adopt" she told me with a small smile.

"Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that your husband died. That must have been really hard for you guys" I tells her.

"Yeah it is, but I don't want you to feel bad about anything. We want to you to be happy on your new home" she told me.

"Ok and thank you so much for everything that you have done for me. Even if this is just my first day living here, I feel like I've know you guys longer. It made me really happy that you adopted me. You have been really nice and kind to me" I tell all of them.

While me and Aria were having our conversation Courtney and Michelle were having their own chat, talking about their friends and school.

We talked for a few more minutes enjoying our food. When we were all done Alejandro and Cassie started cleaning up, while Aria went upstairs to her study to finish some work and Michelle and Courtney went to work on a project they were doing.

I decided to stay downstairs to explore the house.

While I was looking at a painting in the living room I heard someone walk in. I turned around and saw Alejandro.

"Hey" I said. "Hi I was wondering if you would like to outside and talk with me so we could get to know each other" Alejandro said.

Hey guys I'm really sorry I haven't been able to update this book.  I've been really busy working on a school project.
I did put out a new chapter in my book  Short Stories and Updates. Hope you can check it out and give me some ideas.
Sorry for that short update but there will be a Part 2 really soon.
