Midnight
Everyone surronded her
She was smiling, it was magical
Candles encircled the group
Rose petals scattered
There were scented candles everywhere
If only she knew
Today was her fifteenth birthday
She wasn't informed
Every girl who turns fifteen
Is sacrificed for the sake of the village
Villagers are in such high spirits
This girl, this sacrifice, will help them
For every girl given, they recieve a week of safety
The poor girls are never informed
This is why this Village is almost pure men
She was so clueless, so clueless
Poor Girl, Poor Girl they thought
She recieves a cake, Chocolate
Her favorite, this moment was magical
If only she knew, If only she knew
She never got the chance to taste the cake
