♡JESSICA♡
10 years ago...I sat at the lunch table with my friend Anna and pulled out my Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich. We were talking about our show and tells that we were going to share later today when the bully in our class, James, came over.
"Hey Jessie! You have a packed lunch? Are you poor?" James smirked. I huffed at him and looked away like my mommy told me to do. "Hey, baby! I'm talking to you! Are you gonna cry if I do this, baby?" He pulled my one pigtail out and threw my rubber band across the room. Then he grabbed my other pigtail and did the same. Tears started forming in my eyes as he pulled away and laughed.
"Stop it James! You're being a bully again. I'll tell the teacher!" I whined as I rubbed the tears away. He laughed again and walked away as Anna went to grab my hair ties.
"Are you okay J?" I smiled at her as she helped put my hair up again, this time in braids.
"Yeah A. Thanks for your help." She smiled back and hugged me. After talking a bit more, I saw Adam looking at me from the corner of my eye. I turned to him and he blushed, looking away. I studied him, seeing he was wearing a bright blue sweatshirt that he wears every day paired with black jeans ripped at the knees and dark blue sneakers. I thought it would be nice to say hi to him so I smiled and told Anna I'd be right back and walked over to Adam.
☆ADAM☆
I turned back towards her to see her stand up and start walking over to me. I pretended I didn't see her and kept reading my new Batman comic.
"Hi Adam!" I heard her cheery voice right next to me as she sat down. I looked at her and waved, blushing. She was wearing a purple dress with her hair in two sloppy braids, but she still looked really pretty.
"Hi- I- um... Hi." I stuttered out. She giggled and gave me a toothy smile, showing her front teeth were gone. I felt the need to smile back, showing both my front teeth gone as well.
"EWWW! COOTIES!!!" James shrieked as he pointed at us. I blushed again and looked down at my comic, seeing Batman fight Two Face, defeating him of course. Batman was a hero, and heroes were cool. Maybe if I were like Batman, I'd be able to fight James and stop him from hurting Jessica. As he walks over to us, I hide in my book.
"Jessie! Do you like Shy Guy?" She turned to me and blushed, but shook her head no. He laughed and played with her hair, making me angry for some reason. Sighing, I slammed my book down and stood up, noticing that I was taller than James by a few inches. He stepped back and I chuckled at his wide eyes.
"James. Stop. You're being a bully." I stepped forward again and he nodded, stepping away slowly. I sat back down and went back to reading, wondering how I did that. Just as I turned the page, Jessica hugged my side, knocking me out of my chair and onto the floor in a sitting position with her still attached to my side.
"Thank you Adam."
And we were friends forever since.

So... yeah. This may be overused, stupid, or cool. I hope you like this and... yeah. I'm really bad with author notes...
Another thing, when James is being rude to Jessie, I just thought those were the only rude things a Kindergartener knew...Chapter dedicated to tinyboxvanoss
