When Chloe's mother had pulled up to the venue, Maddie's heart nearly skipped a beat. The venue, as expected, was packed with hundreds of teenage girls, just as eager to see the boy band as they were.
"Is that their bus?" Chloe had asked, motioning towards a large, double-deckered black bus that was pulled up to the curb of the venue.
Maddie bit her lip thoughtfully, watching the swarm of teenage girls take pictures near the bus, "I think so."
"Well girls, we're here." Chloe's mother announced cheerfully, and the girls nearly tripped over themselves in their haste to get out of the van.Excitement bubbled up inside Maddie, and she couldn't resist a squeal as they ran towards the entrance.
"Tickets please?" A rather attractive, slightly older boy asked.
"He's really cute, should I get his number?" Kalani whispered, with a giggle.
Maddie rolled her eyes, "I thought you were here to see Josh."
"Yeah, but he's future husband material. He'll be my contingency if Josh doesn't fall in love with me tonight." Kalani replied, with a shrug of her shoulders.
Maddie just shook her head and laughed, "Do whatever you want Kal."
The pretty brunette smiled brightly, before an amorous look crossed her face as she walked over to the older boy, handing him their tickets. Not only thirty seconds had gone by, and Kalani was already flipping her hair and leaning in close to him. All Maddie could do was snicker to herself at her friend's antics, but her amusement was cut short when someone had ran into her left shoulder, and if she hadn't caught herself, she was sure she would've had a nice little conversation with the floor.
Once she righted herself, she spun around on her heels, bringing her heated glare to a retreating back of a boy with short brown hair.
"Hey!" She called angrily, but the boy didn't respond. Maddie fumed, "Asshole!" She shouted out before turning back to her friends.
"What was that about?" Nia wondered, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't know! First, he comes out of stark nowhere, and then shoulders me without even glancing back to apologize? What a douche!" Maddie ranted, rubbing her shoulder tenderly.
"Well, hey cheer up Mads! Cuz we're about to go meet our idols!" Kendall exclaimed, which softened Maddie's attitude. She gave a small smile, and nodded her head, pushing away the thoughts of that rude boy and linked arms with her friends.
Today was their night, and nothing was going to ruin it.

The room was hot and humid, filled to the brim with teenage girls talking excitedly amongst themselves. There were no seats to sit in, but Maddie doubt that anyone would be sitting down once they got onto the stage, so she didn't mind at all. In fact, her blue eyes were trained on the stage, studying the instruments and microphones already set up. Her heart was beating a mile a minute at the thought that Gino was going to be there, playing those drums, right in front of her. And she couldn't wait!
The excited chatter had died down a bit when a man in a sleek, black suit walked onto the stage, instantly capturing everyone's attention.
He picked up the microphone, and cleared his throat, before holding it up to his mouth, "How's everyone doing tonight?"
"GOOD!" Everyone screamed back.
The man smiled, and Maddie wondered for a moment if she knew this man from somewhere. Because something about him seemed oddly familiar.
