Louis was going to lose his mind. Liam insisted that he'll be the one to talk to their 'boss' but he keeps trying to make excuses not to call. Louis can see that Liam is afraid of what will his boss think when he finds out that he's been talking to a vampire while also trying to kill them.
"Look, maybe I can talk to him on my own tonight then see if he'll cooperate with us," Liam nervously said.
Karen breathed in exasperation at Liam's excuse. "Liam, please. Let me talk to him then," She said. "Then we'll slowly ease him into the situation."
Liam started to shake his head no but Louis cut him off by slapping the coffee table and pointing at Liam, "Don't you f.ckin dare say no!" he snapped.
Liam was staring at him with wide eyes, mouth snapped shut. "Tell him to meet you and your 'friends' in some cafe, so he'll feel safe, and we'll all go and tell him. I won't dare act out on him and he won't dare attack me in public. Fair enough?" Louis said as he narrowed his eyes on Liam.
Liam didn't say anything negative about the idea, he nodded his head in agreement then stood up to talk to his 'boss'. Louis sighed, closed his eyes then leaned back on the couch he wasn't feeling well. His mind kept going back to how Harry looked so lost when Antony pulled him up, he wishes he could've done more to try and get him away from him, but all he was concerned about is to get himself out first. It's a selfish thing to think about but Louis felt suffocated with the amount of thoughts and flashes of distant memories that he spent a good portion of his life trying to bury them. But another part is that he wasn't prepared for what Antony has in mind, he basically wanted a fight and who knows, he might've already killed Harry. He hopes he hasn't.
"I called him we're meeting at the coffee shop close to campus at ten. He was a bit skeptical about coming but I assured him that you won't harm him, I still think he doesn't believe me but we'll see," Liam breathlessly said.
Louis nodded and looked back and forth between Liam and Karen, he sighed. "Karen, do you want to take the bed?" He asks. "I can take the couch and Liam can go have a few zzz's before we're supposed to meet." He added.
"That'd be alright, Lou. I'll just go to my hotel and get ready on the potion you asked me for," she said while smiling softly at Louis.
Louis shrugged, "Suit yourself."
Karen bid them both goodbye and left. Liam was still staring at the door where she just closed it with a pained expression on his face. Louis chuckled and that seemed to snap Liam out of his thoughts.
