~Cara's POV~
I opened the door to my flat and placed my bag on my couch and ran up to my room. I slowly walked over to a ledge I had with a window. I sat down. I looked out the window and studied the little people walking around. Have you ever wondered what life is like for everyone else? Let me introduce myself.
I'm Cara Liefer. I'm 19 and I live in Chicago. My life is simple I don't go to work. I don't go to collage. My parents support me with money. Simple huh? No. Sometimes my life is hard. I have to make my own money sometimes. I'll rarely update a video on YouTube. I speed draw. I make some money off of it but not much. I don't really consider it a job. Why i'm sitting by this window? Well ever since i bought this place I've always looked out this window. For some reason it keeps me calmed and make me feel better after i've had a bad day. I have one cat. Sugar. No im not a crazy lady who live home alone. I actually have a friend. Her name is Cassie. I also have a boyfriend. Danny.
I looked over to my side and saw my cat approaching me. I smiled.
"Hey kitty" I said to her in a soft voice. She hopped up into my lap i softly stroked her. I heard a buzz. I took my phone out of my pocket and read it.
From: Cassie
To: Cara
Coming over so don't be scared if you hear you door open.
From: Cara
To: Cassie
Ok. Door is open as always.
I sighed and looked out the window. Sugar purred and pawed at a strand of my hair. In 5 minutes i heard my front door open and someone come to my room. Sure enough it was Cassie.
"Hey Cas" I said.
"Hey Cara" she replied. She walked over and sat opposite of me on the window. Sugar leaped in to her lap and rubbed against her hand to greet her.
"You came here fast.' I said and looked over to her.
"Well I'm always in a rush to see my best friend." I pushed her slightly and we both laughed. "Wanna go check Facebook and see what everyone is doing." she suggested.
"Sure!' I said and went over to my laptop to turn it on. It finally turned on and we went on Facebook. We decided to take a picture of us and post it on there. I took at picture and uploaded it with the caption saying
With my girlfriend Cas
Cassie did the same thing but said that she was hanging out with me. I laid down on my bed.
"Who's Facebook should we check?" I asked. Cassie looked over to me.
"How about Danny's?" I nodded and went to go to his Facebook page. My jaw dropped when i saw the newest post had had on there. It was a picture of him with ANOTHER girl that wasn't me and the caption said
With my babe. Love her <3
I felt anger boil up inside of me. I saw Cassie gasp and put her hand over her mouth. How could he do this to me? After all we have been through? AFTER DATING FOR 3 YEARS? No impossible. It must be my imagination. Sure enough it wasn't Cassie opened her arms and hugged me. I hugged her back. I started to cry. She rubbed small circles on my back.
"Shh," she said. "It's going to be ok." she said in a soothing voice. "He was a jerk anyways" I heard her whisper. I giggled. We stopped hugging and i wiped away my tears.
"Better?" she asked. I nodded.
"I DON'T NEED NO MAN IN MAH LIFE" I shouted and jumped in the air. Cassie laughed at my craziness. Did i mention I'm crazy? Well, I am.
I walked into my kitchen to grab some ice cream because i was craving it. Cassie came over to me and grabbed the ice cream out of my hands.
"HEY!" i shouted at her. She calmly put the ice cream back in the fridge.
"We are going to go out to eat tonight." She told me. I groaned. "TO GET MCDONALD'S!" she shouted out. I cheered. This is why i love Cassie (A/N Not it that way). I quickly fixed up my make-up from crying and we hopped into her car to go eat.
~2 Days Later~
I haven't been talking to Danny. But i've been hanging out with Cassie more often. I was having a good day until i got a text from a certain someone. Danny.
From: Danny
To: Cara
hey babe r u ok?
From: Cara
To: Danny
Fine
From: Danny
To: Cara
Ok then i'm coming over
I panicked and threw my phone onto my bed. What do i do?! I don't wanna talk to him! I sighed. I had nothing to do but to do what i had to do. I had to straighten things out with him.
About 10 minutes later i heard the front door open. I went downstairs (A/N Yes it's 2 floors). I saw Danny walk i kept my eyes on him as he walked towards me. He wrapped his arms around me.
"Hey babe'" he whispered into my ear. I pushed him away from me. He frowned.
"Babe, what's wrong?" I stared at him coldly.
"What's wrong?" i said. I walked towards him. He nodded.
"Tell me" he said. I felt anger boil up in me.
"WHATS WRONG IS THAT YOU CHEATED ON ME!" I shouted at him. His eyes got wide.
"Wha- what are you talking about?" He stammered.
"You know what i'm talking about." I looked down at my feet. He came over to me and hugged me.
"Im SO sorry babe." he said. I pushed him away from me.
"Get out.' I whispered.
"What?" He asked shocked.
"GET OUT!" I yelled. I pushed him out the door before her could say anything else and locked it. I could hear him pounding on my door and begging to let him in. I ran into my room and sat on my bed crying. I pulled out my laptop and decided to watch some of PewDiePie's videos. They are the only things, besides the window of corse, the cheer me up and keep me sane. While i was watching one of his video i saw a video the got my attention. It was titled
AWESOME Minecraft Flash Parkour Map w/ BajanCanadian
It was by a guys named JeromeASF. Being me i clicked on the video. The video started.
"Hey everybody, Jerome here!"
Little did i know that those four words would change my LIFE.
