~Chapter 3~

~Cara's POV~

'BEEP BEEP' My alarm clock went off. I shot up out of my bed and turned off the constant ringing of the clock. Grabbing my laptop, I headed downstairs While I waited for my computer to start up, I decided to make myself a sandwich. I placed my sandwich on the table and logged onto the laptop. Once I was on, I searched up "Minecon 2013".I scanned the web for the link I was searching for. "Aha!"  I clicked onto the page, shouting out in glee.

"Buy your Minecon tickets here!"

I quickly bought a ticket before they would all sell out. I smiled. "Yes!" I whispered under my breath. I decided to buy another one so Cassie could come with me. A small smile played on my lips. I grabbed my phone and called Cassie.

Hello?

Hi! Guess what I got for us?

I don't know. What did you get?

Ok, wait for it....

I'm waiting!

I GOT TICKETS TO MINECON FOR US!

Cool! When is it?

2 weeks away  in Orlando, Florida.

Bye!

I decided to tweet out the lucky news.

"Going to Minecon :p" I typed out.

I instantly got some tweets telling me to post a selfie or show myself so people could meet me. I told them that later I would when the time was right.I had many fans from my minecraft commentary, but I hadn't shown my face yet, unlike many other youtubers. I was getting a lot of good feedback asking for more videos, but I also got some negative feedback insulting my videos. I didn't mind.

I decided to go to the mall to grab a few things for the trip so I wouldn't have to go later. I grabbed my phone and keys and made my way outside.

I entered the mall and scanned the stores. Walking into Forever 21, I bumped into somebody. I looked up at the person at who I bumped into and opened my mouth to apologize, but the person took me by surprise.

"Cara?" she asked. I looked at her, surprised. I looked at the girl more closely, trying to remember the familiar face. Suddenly, it clicked!

"Vicky!" I shouted out. She was an old friend of mine but we lost touch after she had moved to Canada. "I missed you!" I exclaimed, pulling her into a hug.

"You better have!" She stated with a playful smirk on her face. While we were shopping at Forever 21, I decided to ask her about Minecon.

"Have you ever heard about Minecon?" I questioned. She looked at me with a strange look on her face. "Are you kidding!? I'm going to Minecon!" She shouted.

"Really?" I said, excited. "'Cause I'm going too!" I yelled. A few people gave us strange looks, but we could care less.

"Vicky, you came back. Why?" I asked. She shrugged. "I'm old enough to live on my own, and I decided I wanted to visit Chicago again before I depart to Canada again.".

 We spent the rest of the day together at the mall. We talked about YouTube, Minecraft, Minecon and life in general. I invited her for a sleepover and she had agreed to come over. She had taken her own car to the mall so she followed mine all the way to my place.

"Welcome to my home!" I exclaimed once we had reached my place. She took a quick glance around and smiled.

"Nice!" I led her upstairs to my room and we were greeted by Sugar. I picked her up and cradled her in my arms. 

"She's so cute!" Vicky gushed. I handed Sugar to Vicky. She took Sugar from my arms and softly stroked her soft fur. I walked over to the window and watched as the beautiful sight unfolded in front of my eyes. Vicky came over to stand next to me.

"The view from here is beautiful." she said, looking down at the streets in awe. I nodded and continued to stare at the gorgeous orange sunset, as if it was a beautiful painting.

"Cara? Cara!" Vicky shouted, waving her hand in front of my face.

"What?" I groaned as she giggled.

"I asked if you wanted to record something!" A smile played on the edges of my lips.

"Sure"
