After wrapping 8 more boxes for the pack I was getting hungry, it was only 10:30pm,so I had a shower and washed my hair with bubble-gum shampoo, after I dried my hair, I got changed in my light blue skinny jeans and yellow vest top, with 2 giraffe’s one saying, ‘hey’ the other ‘hi’.

As I walked out the door I grabbed my black cardigan and light grey hand bag, once I’d looked the front door I heeded for an ‘all night dinner’ I noticed when Carlisle was driving me home.

I got there about 5 minutes later using my vampire speed; I pushed open the door to find the place was very crowded, I looked around for a table but they were either taken or had plates and cup’s on them, then I spotted Charlie, he was sitting in the corner, so I walked over hopping I would be able to sit with him.

“Hello Charlie” I said in a sweet voice

“Oh hello Ivy” he said swallowing his burger “what can I do for you?”

“Um… I was just wondering if I could sit with you” I said looking around “as you can see all the seats are taken, and, yeah” I said with a smile.

“sure” he said moving his chair over so I had more room, we talked about nothing in particular, the wether, his job and mine and how I was settling in.

“Well my brake’s over, I’ll see you later Ivy” Charlie said putting his police jacket on, he then reached in his pocket to get his wallet out, he dug deeper.

“I’ve got it covered Charlie” I said waving a hundred dollar bill “just work extra hard if I get kidnapped” I smiled, he thanked me and left.

A lady with a notepad came up to me, she smiled “what can I get for you sweaty?” she asked chewing on her gum.

“Just a chocolate milkshake please” I said playing with the salt shaker.

“Alright honey, it’ll be ready in a moment” she said walking off; once I’d finished I paid for mine and Charlie’s meal and walked home.

I reached the front door and opened it but it was locked, I knocked really hard hurting my knuckles but no-one was home, I then realised that I left my bag and jacket at the dinner, but when I got there it was closed, PERFECT.

I wondered around the town, until I came to a little playground, I sat on the swing but my bum got wet, so I wondered over to the football oval next to the swing and I sat down, and to make things worse, it started to rain.

I could already feel my nose getting wet because I was catching a cold, I groaned and dropped myself onto my back, it was REALLY cold now and I was shacking, I could tell I was about to sneeze, so I held my nose.

“Wanna tissue?” Jacob asked handed my one, I smiled and held it to my nose and sneezed.

“What are you doing out in the middle of a football field when it’s freezing cold and raining?” he asked sitting down next to me.

“I lost my jacket and key’s to the house and the dinner” I said looking down.

“Let me guess…it’s closed isn’t it?” he asked laughing.

“Maybe…” I said a little embarrassed, he shook his head.

I grabbed my arm’s in an attempt to keep warm “you’ll get hyperthermia out here” he said hugging me; I immediately grabbed him and held on tight. He was really warm, and he was only in shorts and his usual V-neck t-shirt, then I remember my father was as well, it must be a wolf thing.

“do I smell bubble gum?” he asked.

“my hair” I said with me head burred in his chest .

I could feel my blood temperature rising ever so slightly. “Are you feeling better now?” he asked, I nodded, he rubbed by back gently, then took my hand and pulled me up, I gave him a ‘what are you doing’ look.

“Do you want a drink?” he asked holding my hand, I just looked at him “a hot chocolate?”

“OMG, yes!” I squealed, Jacob pulled on my hand as we headed through the woods, it did rain that much through the wood because the tree’s caught the water, I was eager to see where he lived, a little cottage in the woods somewhere, and there would more than likely be a little place where Jacob stored his bike, I laughed, he loved that little trike.

“What so funny?” Jacob said as he stopped walking.

“Just wondering, do you like sleep with your bike?” I said, he gave me a death glare, I just laughed more.

I loved Jacob’s house, it was a beautiful red, with easy access to the woods.

“Ok we have to be quiet, Billy’s asleep” Jacob said opening the door, I nodded in approval.

Jacob sat me down on a chair and he tip toed over to the kettle, which he knocked over making a loud bang, he walked back over to me with a broken kettle, he smiled, I tried to keep my laughter in.

“How about a movie?” he asked placing the kettle on the bench; he took my hand again and lead me over to the couch.

We were half way through the hangover and I was getting tired, so I lent my head on Jake’s shoulder, his shoulder was really comfy.

“Your shoulders comfy” I said half asleep.

“Tired?” Jake asked.

“Yep” I said yawning.

“You wanna go to bed” he asked

“Yep” I replied, and then Jake picked me up, and put me in what I assume to be his bed.

“Goodnight Ivy” Jacob said kissing me on the cheek.

“Goodnight Jake” I said before drifting off to sleep.
