A Weird Day

I woke up today on a beautiful, quiet, Saturday morning, to hear the birds chirping, here in California.

But, that was soon ended by the sound of horns and car's tires screeching against the pavement.

All of a sudden the birds stop chirping.

Did they die?

Well, you know what they say, a bird dies, and no longer flies, here in...California.

Ok, they don't actually say that, but it fits perfectly with Cali. I wouldn't be surprised to see a bloody bird, on the bottom of a bugatti's tire, blew up on a big, black, billboard, here in, say it with me....California.

I shook my head and chuckled as I got up from my bed to do my daily routine.

I have weird thoughts.

I then walked downstairs, and sat at the kitchen counter, before I inhaled the delicious scent of fresh, crispy, bacon.

"Hi, mom,"I smiled. "Hey, Ar,"My mom smiled back as she flipped some pancakes on the stove.

"I woke and immediately thought of a bloody bird plastered on billboard, is that weird,"I asked. "It's definitely not normal, but that's something for you to ponder, on your own special time, but until that has been deciphered, we should talk,"My mom paused as her disturbed expression turned into a playful smirk.

I waited 10 seconds for her to continue, but she didn't.

"About,"I asked biting into my bacon. "That Justin guy,"My mom smiled. "Oh Lord,"I mumbled grabbing my plate ready to run up the stairs. "What, I think it will help us bo-No, no, no, don't turn into one of those moms. If you say bond, I swear I will fulfill your dreams, and put myself in an orphanage,"I warned. "Ok, fine, but lets talk about him, I like him,"My mom said before she grabbed my arm to pratically drag me back to the table.

"Ughhh, what do you want to know,"I asked. "Are yall dating,"My mom asked.

I choked on my food.

"What no, he is my best friend,"I answered after regaining control of my breathing patterns. "But, he seems nice, and he's good looking, and he has a great sense of humor, and his hair is amazing, an-Mom do you want to date him,"I asked stopping her from continuing to picture my 18 year old bestfriend in her brain.

"No, but you do,"Mom smirked. "You keep thinking that, alright. I'm just gonna exclude myself from this uncomfortable conversation,"I smiled as I ran out the door.

"Oh my gosh,"I breathed out. "Talk about strange,"I said as I began to walk to Justin's house.

At His House

"Hey Pattie,"I smiled. "Oh hey Ariana, I thought you were coming later,"Pattie smiled back as she let me in. "I was, but my mom was being a weirdo, wondering if me and Justin were dating and stuff,"I explained. "I can't blame her,"Pattie chuckled. "I see the way you two look at each other, yall may not see it yet, but there's something there,"Pattie continued. "Obviously you two have the same mindset so I'll just go fine Justin,"I said trying to get out of there as soon as possible.

I'm not scared about thinking about it, I just rather not. I'm not gonna think about it unless I have a legitimate reason.

I know everyone has a soulmate, but Justin...I don't see it.

"Hey Justin,"I smiled as I walked in. "Hey,"Justin grinned as he pulled me into a hug. "I love your hugs,"Justin chuckled.

I giggled.

"Your just perfect for hugs, tiny and really short,"Justin teased. "I'm not short, I'm fun sized,"I defended as I sat on his bed.

"Oh ok,"Justin said.

He then laid down on other side of his bad, and started staring at me.

"Do I have something on my face, oh gosh,"I said before I covered my face.

"No, no, your beautiful,"Justin smiled as he grabbed my hands and took them off my face.

I felt like electricity jolt through my body, and heat rise in my cheeks.

What?!?!?!?

"You don't have to lie, to make me feel good,"I said trying to reobtain my composure. "Seriously,"Justin said looking me in the eyes. "Thanks,"I said. "No problem,"Justin smiled.

I might have a crush on Justin.
