Chapter One: The Arrival
Noah's POV
Yesterday I had to call Alpha Adam of the Red Stone pack because those stupid rogues just had to come and attack us. Even though my pack is one of the strongest, we will still need backup and more members to fight with us because the rogues have been joining up with each other lately. The fact that they are gathering up together makes me feel slightly uneasy about the whole situation because most of the time rogues hate other rogues.
"Mhm, " I jumped at the sudden noise because I totally forgot that Alyssa was still in my bed. Normally after our quick "sessions" she goes back to her room. I must have worn her out pretty bad if she didn't leave right after, if you know what I mean. ;)
"Baby," Alyssa moaned. "What!" I snapped at her. Okay maybe I was being a little harsh on her, but I mean, I have a lot on my mind, and sometimes I just get really frustrated. Being me, I'm eighteen, still in high school (ugh), and I haven't found my mate yet.
"Sorry," Alyssa said with a bit of an attitude in her voice. My wolf was growling on the inside because: ONE: this isn't my mate, and TWO: no wolf should ever talk to me that way, with me being an alpha. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, Alyssa is the pack slut, not that she cares, and everybody has had their fair share of her.
“No, I’m sorry,” I sighed. I just feel kinda bad about treating her like this. I may be a player, but my dad did tell me to never treat a girl like this. “It’s okay,” she said.
Alpha, it’s about time to go to the Red Stone territory.
Shit! I totally forgot about that. I didn’t even pack. Oh well, I can just buy more clothes whenever I get there. Maybe I’ll even find a quick hump and dump while I’m there. Hell, maybe I’ll even find my mate! (Note the sarcasm) I mean I’m eighteen and I still don’t have my mate! Most wolves get their mates whenever they turn sixteen.
“Alyssa, you have to get out.” “Why?” she asked. Oh, how I would like to tell her something that I should probably never tell a woman. “Because I told you to, and also I have to leave. Maybe we can have some more fun whenever I get back,” I told her. At the last part I winked because I know that it drives her crazy. She got up to leave, but I pulled her onto my lap and made out with her for a little bit. Then, I reluctantly let go of her to let her leave.
*****Two Hours Later*****
We finally just arrived at the Red Stone pack’s territory. I guess the guards at the edge of their territory notified Alpha Adam and told him that we had entered the territory. Whenever we first saw Alpha Adam, I expected him to have his beta and best trained guards with him. What I saw wasn’t that at all. Alpha Adam was standing next to who I’m assuming are his three kids because they all look like him, and also is standing next to a beautiful woman who looks to be around my mother’s age.
“Hello Alpha Noah.”
“Hello Alpha Adam, thank you for letting us stay here and to help us fight.”
“No problem. Let me introduce you to my family. This, he says motioning to the older woman by his side, is my wife, mate, and this pack’s Luna, Annie.” Alpha Adam said. “Hi Alpha Noah,” Annie said softly. Now that I can see the couple’s faces clearly, I have realized that their children look like a complete combination of the two. “Hello Luna Annie,” I said back to her.
“Hi, I’m Luke,” a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes tells me as he steps forward towards me. “I’m Jack,” the other boy with brown hair and green eyes said as he also stepped forward towards me. “I’m Skylar,” I hear the a girl with platinum blonde hair and beautiful green eyes say as she also steps forward towards me.
“Mate,” I hear my wolf howl in my head so loud, that I now have a headache.
“Hi, it’s nice to meet all of you,” I say respectfully towards all of them. Skylar, who I now figured out is my mate, looked to be about sixteen, so why hasn’t she accepted me as her mate yet? “I’m sorry I don’t mean to be rude, but how old are all of you?” I asked towards the people, whom I assume to all be teens. “I’m eighteen, Jack is seventeen, and Skylar, my baby sis, is fifteen,” Luke said.
“Oh, that makes perfect sense as to why she didn’t accept us,” my wolf said to me.
"Hello?" I heard Jack say which snapped me out of my trance. I just realized that I was staring at Skylar. "oh, umm, hey. Sorry, must have zoned out," I told them. "Okay," Luke said while looking at me uncertainly," lets go inside." Instead of saying okay, I just nodded and motioned for my men and the women and children to follow me. My beta, Zach, although he was by my side, decided to mind link me.
"What was that all about dude?" Zach asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You were just like staring at that hot chick for like three minutes, while that dude Jack was trying to say something," he said. My wolf was growling at the way he was talking about Skylar. He could have just said staring at that girl. Instead, he said staring at that hot chick. "I swear if he ever talks about our mate, his future Luna, like that again, I will personally rip his balls off!" my wolf growled to me. I totally agree with him though. He shouldn't talk about Skylar like that. I wonder what he would do if he knew she was my mate.
