[Monologue #10]

It's night time somewhere...And somewhere there's a young girl being held at gunpoint. Lately, I can see my feelings loud and clear. My heart's still leaning. Dreams are becoming nightmares. Night is as clear as day. Sometimes the world is so dark, I feel like I'm in the absence of light. Something's not right.

It's someone.

My life just might be ending.

But as I look back at all the pain I've faced in life, sometimes I wish the drugs would've killed me.

Prince: (ignores her and continues talking to his crew)

Biz: Aye Curly Cue!

Prince: (still ignoring them)

Prince: Can't you see I'm talking?

Jas'marieé: (glares at him) Yo, you're fake as hell.

Roc: (gives Jassie the 'you-need-me-to-do-the-honors?' look and she nods) Let's go, baby girl. We don't need no more drama for you.

Jas'marieé: I know...Bad enough my ass is suspended.

Biz: Speaking of the devil...(points at Mrs. Daniels)

Mrs. Daniels: Salisha Bryant! Aerielle Jonathan! (points to the detention room) In-house suspension.

Mrs. Daniels: Detention! (mumbles) Bad ass kids. (walks away)

Diggy: Well, I can't be late for class.

Biz: Me either.

Dede: Imma get detention if I'm late again. (hugs everyone) Bye!
