NICK'S POV

I strode casually down the old torn up road on the backside of the burned down church. I thought to myself as I passed by running over the senerios that could have caused every bit of that church to burn down until it was nothing but ash and rubble, except the playset, when I noticed a familiar shape swinging low to the sand on one of the squeeky old swings. I let out a low chuckle to myself, and began to saunter through the overgrown grass at my feet. "Well if it isn't Emma Roberts, the loneliest maiden in the land." She turned towards me, crossing her arms over her chest pretending to be annoyed, but I could tell she was holding back a laugh. "Ah and if it isn't Nick Bueckers trying to find someone to fill his empty life."

"Ouch." I put on a hurt face, and raised my hand to my heart to show where the comment had hit me. "Uh huh, yea." She rolled those beautiful green eyes of hers, and let out a laugh, then went back to simply staring at her feet which sat still on the sand covered play ground uhhh.... flooring I guess. I walked quietly up behind the swing she sat on, and wrapped my hands around the cold, rusted, metal chains. "What are you doing here all alone anyway Emma? You look like you could use some company." I spoke teasingly, trying to be calm even though I swear she could hear my heart beating out of my chest just as it always does when im around Emma. Everything seems so...simple when im around her. You could even say...easy. "Well I was bored at home so I went for a walk alone, and ended up here." She spoke softly, and slowly as if to tease me with those perfect full lips, and flawless... well everything! "Oh I thought maybe you came here hoping a certain tall, brown haired boy would find you here." I gave her my favorite teasing smirk, and laughed quiety under my breath hoping she WOULD actually hear me. She turned her upper body around as far as she could and pushed me by my chest. I pretended to stumble partially, and lose my balance as she made a noise of pure disgust "Ugh Nick. Is there ever a time you aren't egotistic?" I got what must have been a billion butterflies the second she spoke my name, because I knew she liked when I tease her. I let out a small chuckle, and pulled back on the old metal chains, and began to push her. "Who me? egotistic? never!" And she let out a laugh, I knew she couldn't hold it in forever. I gave her a small shove everytime the swing came back toward my body.Eventually I left the action of pushing her swing to sit in the swing to the right of her perfect body. I noticed she was staring at me out of the corner of my eye. Man how does that girl do it? She gives me butterflies just by looking at me! I gave her a teasing smirk, and without turning my head, I spoke with confidence lingering in my voice. "Take a picture hun, it'll last longer." She laughed, and tried to cover for her actions, stuttering, and turning away. "Uh I uh... I was just...you...I... I mean... I haha. I give up I got nothing." That perfect face of hers turned bright red with embarrassment, as she tries to pass what she probably thought was an awkward moment, but what I thought was cute. I was thinking to myself how perfect, and beautiful she is, until only a few moments passed, and I heard the click of an I-Phone5c camera go off. I turned to look at her with a wide stupid grin on my face, and a raised eyebrow. "Did you seriously just take a picture?"

"Yup, I did!" She admitted to it loud and confident, not even worried about what I may think. "Huh I never thought Emma Roberts would take a picture of me just to have." I teased her with a half smirk half smile on as I tried to keep it together before I burst out laughing and turn bright red. She gave me a teasing punch on the shoulder and answered with a high pitch but confident voice. "Well you told me to, so I did. Haha." She laughed that adorable laugh that she hates, but I love. "Okay, so anyway, what's the real reason your here?" She let out a slight sigh knowing I would eventually ask. "My dad got reaaal drunk again, and I didn't feel like being there while him and my mom.....uhhhh do things."

"Haha classic!"

"Ha... gross." She spoke with a disguisted, sour look crossig ber face. "Sooo when do you plan on going back?" I spoke easily, turning my head to avoid making contact with those big beautiful green eyes. "Weelllll I don't. Not tonight anyway."
