"Where are we going mommy??" I hear my little sister Lindsey's voice question my mother.

"We're going to your grandmothers.." She said as she moved the hair out of Lin's eyes. Lin's just grinned widley..

I leaned closer to mom's ear and whispered to her, "What's wring with dad, he seems a little mad.."

Mom frowned at that. "He's a little stressed is all. Nothing to worry about hun." There was something in her voice.. Everything was off that day, the weather wasn't right, my dog's were acting strange. Everything felt weird. Everything except Lin.. My parent's had been fighting a lot by then, so when they were bickering over nothing, it didn't suprise me. But it was just enoughg time for my dad to look away, while my sister and I were playing go-fish in the backseat. All I can remember is seeing everyhting spin.. Wildly.. I tried to grab for Lin.. I did.. But I had failed because of the damn seat belt.. I watched as everthing closed in on us, then everything went black.

I woke up to sirens, everything a little blurry. I felt a buring pain in my shoulder and look sideways. I saw a scarlet liquid seeping through. My thought immediatly went to Lin. I screamed her name and searched the reamins of the car with my eyes. Nothing.. She wasn't there. Figures ran to the car, yelling for me to stop, but I couldn't. I felt my heart rip in two that day, that moment. I blacked out once they tried pulling me from the car.

I wokde up in the hospital bed. The light balrring into my eyes. So cold. Lin. My breathing paced. I couldn't scream. Hours later i was released from the hospital. Of course I didn't actually leave. But my parents brought me to my sister's room. Tears in their eyes..

My baby girl was in a coma..

I saw her lying there.. Breathing tube in her nose and mouth.. She looked so pale and fragile..

I never left her side.. Not till two day's later when they declared her dead.. I cry every night.. Lull myself to sleep.. Whispering her name.. It should have been me.
