The next day I woke up, before Sirius, thank Merlin. He was sound asleep as his dog form. He was curled up with his front paw on his snout. So peaceful, but not for long. I smiled.

"ARIANA?!" Where was she? Sirius looked far and low for the girl, who reminded him greatly of his old friend. He began feeling cold. Oh no. He thought to himself, they were near. Did they get Ariana?

Sirius wandered outside and saw Ariana body on the ground he ran up to her startled, shaking her. "Ariana!"

She broke out laughing.

"You should have seen your face!"

"It was a prank?"

"Yeah, payback for what you did to me the other morning."

"You're despicable, I like it. You really got me there Moona."

"Who?"

"Sorry, nevermind that," he said quickly clearing his throat, "We should get moving, the Hogwarts Express doesn't wait for anyone."

Ariana smiled she was finally able to go to a place where she would be accepted, where she wouldn't be looked at differently. Where she can be herself, and perhaps even find herself.

I made sure I got my things, and I let Blaze fly off. She was a wild bird meant to be free. She didn't need me, keeping her grounded.

We arrived to a busy station, muggles were going about oblivious to the wizards carrying owls and running smack into the wall. Isn't magic wondrous?

Sirius padded beside me, his tongue out looking around. Acting like a dog. The plan was for me to go as an exchange student who has not quite gotten her letter yet, and has yet to be sorted into a Hogwarts class. Sirius, also known as Shadow, for the time being was to be my pet dog.

I ran through the platforms nine and ten, entering a completely new platform hidden from Muggles. We had gotten there fairly early, as I was still confused. I followed Sirius. We boarded the train, and he led me to a compartment. Where it seemed to be a man sleeping. I looked at him, he seemed familiar to me, but I don't know why. I was debating whether or not to wake him, but decided against it. Looking at his bag above him, I noticed his name Remus J. Lupin. He's a bit old to be a student. Maybe he is a professor or part of the staff. Sirius sat on the same side as him. So I sat there as well. Close to him.

I rested my head back against the seat, and Sirius, or should I say Shadow, was curled up head on my lap. I began petting him as I thought. I was finally doing this. Finally free to be me.

As people began piling into the train many saw Sirius, Lupin, and I, had left. Later on a voice asked, "Hello, is it okay if we sit here, the other compartments are full,"

"Of course," I said with a smile, the golden trio. The people of my dreams, in front of me. Hermione's mane was gorgeous, Ron's hair extremely red, and Harry exactly how I thought he was going to be.

"I am Harry, this is Ron, and Hermione," Harry said pointing to each in turn.

"I am Ariana and this is Pad-Shadow," I had almost said Padfoot, but quickly corrected myself. When I said that Sirius became rigid but relaxed before I gave him away.

"Who's the man?"

"His name is Remus Lupin, I found him sleeping when I got here."

"Do you reckon he's a professor," Ron asked.

"Possibly," said Hermione, "but I doubt, that he would take the train as he can have other means of transportation."

"Maybe, he is tired," I said automatically, "and wanted a break so he decided the best case was to rest on the way to Hogwarts."
