A day in my life

What an amazing way to wake up with the sound of your mother screaming telling u to wake up and get ready for school with a bottle of liquor on her hand. I get ready, pack my stuff and in the car i go. I am scared because my mom is always drunk and we have been already in 5 car accidents I'm lucky I'm still alive...but i really hope i wasn't... We are having to many near misses with cars and i am just waiting to see that one accident that takes away this misery from my life. I made it to school so far so good. I make my first smile while i say hi to my friend Luis. He comes to me saying "Hey bro how have u been i have been worried sick man u haven't texted this entire weekend i thought we were gonna go to the movies" I would tell him the real reason why i couldn't go which was because my mom had me locked in the house with no phone and no food while she was out all weekend partying. I instead tell him "Sorry man i was really busy in the weekend I had a lot of chores and when I finished all of them i didn't even have energy to text" He surprisingly believed that little lie and we just continued to our classes. Walking to my Science class (my 3rd hour) I see her... Angelica her amazing smile while she talks to her friends and like always surrounded by them and it gives me a smaller opportunity to even talk to her. But the only different thing about today was that Luis came to me and told me "You should go talk to her, she has been looking at you lately man i think she actually likes you" My heart stops at the end of his sentence just by thinking that the love of my life actually likes me. I told him "Im sorry bro I just cant i am too scared and look at her she is surrounded my her friends i don't have a chance" He replies with a smile saying "Theres a reason why i am ur friend let me handle this" He goes to her and makes all of her friends follow him leaving her completely alone. I took my chance and since I promised I would talk to her so i did. I walked up to her scratching the back of my head thinking what to say until i look at and what I see...its her...shes even more beautiful from this close. "Uuummm hi...my name is Chuck" she giggles and says "Silly i know who you are, you are that cute kid that has always sent me letters since 6th grade in valentines day how can i forget" I swear when she told me that my heart just skipped a beat and i stood there looking at her hazel eyes and adorable freckled face and said "Yeah thats me, I'm sorry i have never talked to you face to face u just seem so popular and I can never get a hold of you its almost impossible" She giggles "Then why didnt you just say u wanted to talk to me silly, look heres my phone number and we can txt after school as much as you want and that way we can know each other better" I looked at the paper with her numbers on it and i just smile and look at her again and said " I would love to, well talk to u soon?" She reply with "Of course when ever u are ready ill answer ok?" "Ok". I walked away and when i saw my friend Luis the first thing i told him was "OH MY GOD DUDE I SWEAR I COULD KISS YOU RIGHT NOW" And he told me "Woaaah chill bro i was just helping be alone with her, catching her eye like that well that was all you so u should thank yourself and remember friends forever" and i said "Always bro and remember i will help you out with anything u need too ok? Dont be afraid to ask man" very nice he told me "No man u have helped me enough I owed u this one just dont blow it and be yourself" " We will see man i will try my best"
