Chaz Somers

“Oh! Charles” I called out! “Yeah AJ?” “I wanna do something I don’t want to just sit at home and be bored!” I said plopping on his couch pouting. “Fine Grab your bored we’ll go skating.” I shot right up grabbed his hand and my bored and pulled him out the door.

Most people call me a tomboy, but I can be girly when I want or have to. Chaz is my best friend I’ve known him for about a year now. He dated one of my friends and when they broke up and he started to like one of my other friends we became close. Soon we were hanging out almost everyday and he’s been there for me through everything.

At the skate park I liked to show off to the cute guys because there aren’t that many girls who skate. “Hey there little miss? Why don’t you stop trying to pretend like you know how to skate and leave this to the big boys?” Yup this guy’s done it. I have a short fuse so little things tick me off. “Um. I’m not little and I KNOW how to stake better than you!” I said getting into his face. “AJ that’s not a good idea come on and let’s move to another ramp.” Chaz said to me and I calmed down a little bit. “No I’m staying.” “Listen to your boyfriend.” The guy said. “He’s not my boyfriend I don’t have to.” I said firmly.

Then Chaz picked me up bridal style and took me to the car. “AJ you need to control yourself you’re starting things with total strangers.” “No they started it.” I said giving him my puppy dog pout. “AJ you know I cant resist that look.”  I smiled because I knew I won. Just then he did something I wasn’t expecting at all. He kissed me. “I’m sorry AJ.” Was what he said. I couldn’t say anything. “AJ say something please anything.” I stood there in silence I touched my lips and said “Something please anything.” He smiled and hugged me.  “Chaz why did you kiss me?” “I honestly don’t know I had the urge to.” “So it was just an urge nothing more?” “Not if you don’t want it to be.” “And what if I do?”  “Then I’d tell you I’ve liked you for a while and I should have done that way sooner.” “I like you too.”

He picked me up spun me around and asked me out. I nodded yes and from that day on he treated me like a princess. Not too much like a princess, but like any girl would want to be treated. He is the most amazing boyfriend ever!
