The Long Distance Goodbye.

Chapter 1{First Day}

"Oh oh,I want some more,oh oh,what are you waiting for,what are you waiting for,take a bite of my heart tonight!"I sing loudly to Animal that's playing on the radio.

"Oh,would you just please shut up!"shouts my dad.

I look over to him,but he's focused on the road.I roll my eyes and continue singing.

"I thought I told you to stop!"he shouts and turns of the radio.I shut up then and there.

Ever since mom had died,he's been pretty hard on me.I just want us to go back to being dad and daughter,not what ever he's acting like now.

He pulls up at Westbees High,my new school.I say goodbye and jump out of the car.

A new school.I'm kinda nervous,because I had good friends back at my old school.

I had Alex.Tears immediately weld up in my eyes.I know that more than likely this whole "long distance relationship" isn't going to work out well.

I enter the school and head to the office to get my schedule.

"Lexi Vanish?"the lady at the desk asks.

"No,Vaanisss...."I pronounce it for her.People always mixes up my last name with vanish.

"Oh,sorry sweetie and here,"she hands me my schedule.

I check it and looks like I have math first in room 5D.

I leave the office and look around.

"Lost?"I hear a voice behind me ask.

I spin around.It's a boy,in a grey Game Of Thrones sweat shirt and jeans.His hair is hazel brown,like mine and in long,messy curls.

"Ah,yeh I'm new,Lexi,"I smile and shake his hand.Dang it,hand sake,soo uncool!

"Oh,no wonder I haven't seen you like ever in my life,"he laughs,"I'm James."

"So,what class you got?"

"Am,math,5D,Mr.Corner,"I say in one breath.

"Cool,I have him too,"he moves aside,giving me a clear path,"shall we?"

"We shall,"I march of side by side with him.
