By the time I'd gathered all my things and packed my bag, the classroom was empty. But that was great because it meant I could do some mental meditation before giving Luke his Valentine's Card !
"Breath out...breath in....Breath ou- Wait what?"
Okay so I'm not great at meditation. Don't judge me though, the teacher's are always saying to use time in class wisely. So I do! Whilst all the students are breathing in and out of their nostrils like hogs during gym, I'm hidden in a corner writing in my diary while my BFF's Riley and Sadie keep watch! You should try it! Works a charm! Until you get busted by your teacher :(
Anyways, as I walked a few steps down the hall a hand excitedly tapped my shoulder
"HEY GIGI!"
I turned around...
And saw my two BFF's grinning at me! OMG! They waited for me! They are the best friends EVER!
To be honest, I love them to DEATH, but they're almost as crazy as me!
(And that's saying something)
Riley is literally a walking Wikipedia in Very Berry Cherry Lipgloss and hoop earrings!
Sadie is a sweetheart, but her IQ is ALMOST as low as Francesca's!! Not like that makes a difference, she's ALWAYS there for me, even if she can be as thick as the cafeteria's custard.
(What do they put in that thing? BLEUGH!!)
"OMG guys!!!" I gasped
Their classroom was on the other side of the school, they must've ran like a banshee to catch me up!
"Hi!" smiled Sadie giving me jazz hands and a wide smile.
Riley who was slightly less athletic than Sadie, gave a tired wave before putting her hands on her knees and breathing in and out.
"Did you guys run all the way from the other side of the school?!" I said
Sadie gave an enthusiastic nod whilst Riley, who had begun to get her breath back, was standing up now, and looking in the distance.
I nudged Riley
"Hey Riley, whatcha looking at?"
But she didn't reply, her eyes just seemed glued on a slim figure with a blue backpack and chestnut hair walking on the opposite side of the hallway.
O.M.G!! WAS THAT WHO I THOUGHT IT WAS?? LUKE!
Sadie who must've saw the Valentine's Card I was clutching gave me a wink
"Go get em tiger!!" grinned Riley
I smiled at them gratefully for their reassurance and sped off after Luke.
I followed him like I was on some kind of stealth mission as he pushed open the large main doors and walked outside into the school front lawn. Most kids were either in the cafeteria or just lounging about the school till the bell rang. Fortunately it looked like it was only Luke out on the front lawn. I was about to walk up to him when some sneaky little rattlesnake beat me to it!
Namely...FRANCESCA HOLLISTER!!
I don't understand how someone can be so....PERFECT! All the boys at our school practically swoon at her, and all the girls worship the ground she walks on! But the truth is, on the inside, she's about as beautiful as the sight of a disturbed grizzly bear during hibernation season!!
Tossing back her silky blonde curls over her shoulder, she sashayed over in her Valentino Garavani heels to Luke, who was sat at a picnic table on his cell phone.
