Maggie focused, a certain task seared into her brain. The same task that she had been working on day in and day out for a week or so. She couldn't remember how long, but Lucif-the Devi-her father had ordered her and trained her to do it.
She was learning how to conjure fire. But not just any fire, but hellfire. Heavenly fire was next, he said. Once she mastered the art of controlling and conjuring hellfire, he would recruit an angel--it had to be an angel that hadn't yet fallen he said, or he'd do it himself--to help her practice.
She loved this power of hers. It still scared her at times, such as whenever she accidentally burned down a tree, but other times, such as when she started a campfire--creating a demon trap with the fire--she felt more powerful than ever. She felt special.
"Okay, sweetling. Try again." Lucifer said, a look of power and hunger in his eyes, and anticipation in his voice.
Maggie closes her eyes, allowing the darkness flow through her, turning into heat. She opens her eyes and sees a light flame coming from her fingertips. A grin plays on her lips and the flame grows.
She glances over at her father, who is smiling back at her. "Your doing great. Keep it up, and remember-" he points down the line of trees and at the target a few meters away "-aim is everything. It's control. And control makes you powerful."
Maggie nods, then closes her hand. She lets the heat radiate through her and build up. She opens her hand, palm up. A warm fire emits from her hand, roughly the same size as her palm.
"Good." Lucifer says, licking his lips and rubbing his hands together. "Perfect, child. Now hit the target."
Maggie brought up her hand and focused on the target. She cleared her mind of all things except the target and ball of fire in her palm. You can do this, Mags. You can do this. She raised her hand and pushed it toward, throwing the ball of fire in front of her.
The target erupted in flames, and a small smile started to form on her face.
Her father whispered in her ear. "That's perfect. Now I just need to capture us an angel."

"So this is all you found?" Dean asked Sam, taking a sip of his coffee.
Sam nodded. "There's not much history with Maggie or her family. Her biological family, that is. They could've never existed and it wouldn't have made a difference."
Sam, Dean, and Cas were sitting in a small cafe, a town over from the motel they had gone to inspect the dead bodies. The trail Maggie and her companion had left stopped once they hit the town line. The 'scent' that Cas had on them disappeared, leaving them at a standstill.
"So-" Cas started, glancing around the cafe to make sure nobody was listening in on their conversation "-it's as if her parents never existed?"
Sam nodded in response. Dean leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression etched on his face.
"Could this be the work of Angels?" Dean asked. "I mean-" he crossed his arms "-your able to wipe memories from people. That's what you did with Ben and Lisa. Making two dead people disappear like they were never even alive in the first place is something that you could do, right?"
Cas nodded hesitantly. "Yeah, your right, but that still doesn't explain the feeling I've been having, the trail that I've been following. It's nothing angelic. It's damned, Dean. Hellish, you might say."
Sam's mouth hung open, a wave of realization hitting him in the face.
"Something wrong, Sam?" Dean asked, leaning forward.
"I-I think I know who took Maggie." Sam said, face drained of all color. He looked absolutely terrified.

"So how do we capture an angel?" Maggie asked, biting into her burger.
"Holy oil works." Lucifer replied, taking a bite of his French fry.
Maggie puts down her burger and wipes her mouth. She takes one of his fries and dips it in ketchup. "Okay, sounds easy enough. Now how do we get an angel within talking distance? They're not exactly fans of you, I hear."
Lucifer gritted his teeth. "No. They're not, but don't worry, child. That's what a summoning spell is for."
"Well what are we waiting for then?" Maggie said. "Let's summon an angel."
Lucifer smirks. "I like the way you think. You get your eagerness from me. But we need to gather some materials before we can do anything."
"Okay, well what do we need?"
"Several different herbs and leaves, but that's not what I'm worried about."
"Well what's the problem?"
"The Winchesters and their angel Castiel have been following our trail." He replied, annoyance radiating off of him. "We're fine for now but by the time we get all of the ingredients and summon an angel, it'll lead them straight to us."
Maggie shrugs. "So? We're stronger than them."
"But they never give up. And they know our weaknesses." Lucifer replies and then stands up. "Let's go. We've got much work to do."
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
"Lucifer?"
Sam shrugs. "It makes sense. If she is the antichrist, don't you think Lucifer would like to join alliances with her?"
"Sam does have a point." Cas agrees.
"Well if it is Lucifer--and that's a big if--how did he get out of the cage? Cause I didn't let him out." Dean said, shooing off the waitress who wanted to fill up his mug of coffee.
"I'm not sure, but if Lucifer is out of the cage, and if he was the one who took Maggie, we've got a bigger problem on our hands than we thought." Sam says.
"We'll need some help." Cas says. "We can't possibly do this alone."
"Well who do you suggest we call? We don't exactly have a line of Angels waiting to help us."
Sam and Cas gave each other a look, then they both glanced at Dean, their gaze saying something in a secret language.
It took him a second, but Dean figured out what they wanted him to do. He shook his head. "No. No way."
"Dean-" Sam started, but was quickly interrupted by Dean yet again.
"I can't. What if they team up?"
"But he's the only other person we've got. And for all we know, they could hate each other."
"And I can keep him under control." Cas interjected.
Dean rolled his eyes and took out his wallet. He put down a few dollar bills and got up. "Then let's summon us a king of hell, fellas."
