Three

I walked to an abandoned house outside of the human city, I slowly walked in making sure no one could hear me as I made my way up to a group of kids. I jumped out at them "BOO" they screamed as I laughed "geez calm down its only me" I laughed as they calmed down a bit "Kira!" They yelled hugging me.

I hugged them back but quickly turned around hiding the kids behind me as I felt someone here "stay besides me" I said as the monster came out. It one of the three horsemen of John, I smirked and jumped up in the air "DIE" I yelled before colliding my foot with its face. Then jumped down the ground and turned to the kids "hide and seek ok" I smiled, they nodded and ran away "OK ONE" I grabbed my sword that was on my side "TWO" I ran at the monster "THREE" I twisted around and slashed my sword at its legs before I jumped up. "FOUR!" I slashed my sword down on it making blood gush out "five... READY OR NOT HERE I COME!" I screamed before twisting around 20 or more times slashing my sword at he beast.

I landed in front of it as the beast fell to the ground... Dead... I whipped my sword making the blood come off and on the ground next to me. I then put my sword back on my side and walked to find the kids. I'm not like the other demons nor vampires I do drink blood but I drink animal blood... Crazy but my father finds the animals for me and sends them to me with one of his servants. However, unlike the savages, aka vampires, I can control myself when I'm hungry and when I'm around human blood, I can also go days or weeks without blood, and end up eating human food then, like I said I'm a special case. Are you wondering who my father is? Well I should tell you... He... Is...

The King Of Demons, The Devil himself, shocking right!? Haha!

I smirked at I seen one of my favourite kids out of this group, her hair was so eye catching that how can you not notice her in a crowded room, Mira is her name and she has bright fiery red hair and beautiful red with a bit of purple eyes. I grabbed her lifting her up "ACK! KIRA!" She yelled before I put her on the ground, she turned to me and hugged me "where are the others?" I asked, she laughed and pointed to the others as the came out "thanks for telling on us Mira!" The others yelled. Mira laughed "not my fault" I laughed her attitude was so feisty. The kids know who my family is and what I am but still they treat me nicely and I treat them like humans and not livestock.

We all sat down in the middle of the room as Mira and the other youngest one of the group laid on my lap. I slowly stroked their heads as the others laid on the ground, I looked up at the roof as I saw little holes, this world is too dangerous for little kids now, if they go outside they'll get killed or captured and used as livestock. "Kira?" I looked over to the oldest of the group his name was Will "yeah?" I said "could you sing us a lullaby?" I laughed and little and nodded "sure" I smiled. The others got in a comfortable position on the ground before I started to sing to them.

I looked at them to see they weren't asleep but almost "go to sleep I'll protect you all" I smiled at them, they soon smiled and closed their eyes falling to sleep. I won't let nothing happen to you guys... I'll make sure this world becomes the best for you all again, even if I die trying! I looked at the kids before walking out of the old house and making sure their presence is concealed. I looked up at the sky as the sun slowly made its way up, today's the day...
