Sunset Glimmer was the first pony to wake up. Everypony else was still sleeping but Violet was gone. Sunset Glimmer looked around the whole house but,all she found was a strand of pink hair on the windowsill. She panicked then she silently hopped out the window. She looked for Violet for a while. She started to head towards the outskirts of the village when all of a sudden she heard a voice call out. She turned around and saw Zalgy Cake leaning against the wall,she had a saddlebag with her and a necklace made out of bones and half a heart. "Have you seen my friends anywhere?" Sunset Glimmer asked. "Oh you mean this?" Zalgy placed a hoof on her bone necklace. " No silly my friends don't look like that!" Sunset Glimmer said. "Well they do now." Zalgy Cake said. When Sunset Glimmer figured out what Zalgy meant she wasn't happy.
Zalgy the reached into her saddlebag and pulled out a pile of crumpled violet fabric. She tossed it on the ground revealing a prism with red,blue,and green streaks. Sunset backed up,eyes wide with fear. She was staring at Violet. The horror didn't stop there. Zalgy reached into her saddlebag and pulled out a head. At first it was unrecognizable,it was coated entirely with blood. Zalgy spat on it washing away some of the blood,revealing a white coat with a rainbow colored mane. Sunset Glimmer stared at Zalgy,tears welling up in her eyes.
"It sucks losing your friends doesn't it?" Zalgy said. Sunset yelled: "AT LEAST I HAVE FRIENDS! AT LEAST I'M NOT A LONELY MONSTER LIKE YOU!" By now Sunset's mane was black,her eyes were now blood red her look of sadness had been replaced by, a ferocious look that would give Freddy Krueger nightmares. Sunset Glimmer had transformed into Sunset Darkshine. Zalgy had changed too. Her mouth was gone,her eyes black,and her coat was now dark blue. Zalgy had transformed into Zalgressa. The two locked eyes and Darkshine charged. Zalgressa raised her hooves in defense but,Darkshine charged right through her defense and slammed Zalgressa into the ground. Zalgressa let out a roar and Darkshine reacted by picking her up and slamming her into the ground again. Then she punched Zalgressa so hard that her head exploded like a watermelon.
Darkshine got up and there was nopony there. Then she could hear the sound of snakes hissing. She turned around and saw Stone who wore no cloth over her eyes causing Darkshine to slowly turn to stone.
