I see you waking down the hallway,
Not really sure what in suppose to say.
We used to talk in science,
Now we sorta an alliance.
Crossed paths again on New Year's Eve,
And I'm starting to believe this could be for real.
After the kiss at midnight,
I thing things are starting to turn out alright.
We start talking again the next day,
I remember the text message it all started with "hey".
Now we're good friends but I can't get things started,
I just don't want things to be restarted.
I was afraid this would fall apart,
But then another girl stole my heart.
Now I'm trying to pick up the pieces,
But your love for me just decreases.
You've just moved on and found another man,
It fells like your heart had given me a lifelong ban.
I wish you were over him at this point in time,
Cuz loving you is a crime.
Just know I'm here if things don't work the way you planned.
Let's see if things don't keep going Down Hill.
