How did I never see him before. He had always been there, staring right at me. He had always been there with the largest urge to talk to me. He had had that urge since seventh grade. But I had been oblivious to that. I had been in a different world with my friends. I had never noticed that he had been behind me. I didn't notice that he had a knife. All I noticed was the pain in my shoulder, the searing pain and the feeling of blood squirting. All I remember after that was waking up in the hospital with the pain still there and a headache. My family was around me, my mother, father, and younger brother. They told me what had happened. After he stabbed me, my friends had called the police. While they were calling, I had fallen into his arms, and he had kissed my head saying,"This is my revenge, princess". He had hugged me while the knife was still in his hand. He had gotten blood all over his shirt while holding me. When the paramedics had finally gotten there, he had told them I loved him and that he needed to stay with me. My friends were screaming at that point that he was lying. The paramedics then loaded me into the ambulance, and my friends had called my parents. My parents had arrived at the hospital once I got out of surgery. Then they sat around me while they waited for me to wake up. When I woke up they told me he was in the hallway and wouldn't leave. I saw him in the hallway, looking at me. He smiled an expression of pure evil. He then mouthed the sentence, "This is revenge for never seeing how much I love you". This would have never happened if I had noticed him.
