Paw's POV
I paced back and forth. The smell of bleach filling my sences. Hearing my mates painful screams, seeing her lying on the floor looking so broken tore me apart.
"Alpha? " I spun round to see Dr Rodgers.
"Yes? How is she? Please say she's okay" I walked towards him.
"The Luna is fine, she's recieved 3 broken ribs but her wolf is healing her" I let out a deep breath that i hadn't realised I had been holding.
"But why what happened to her. Is the pup okay? "
"Well the pup, well it shifted"
"What do you mean shifted, as in moving positions?"
"No, Alpha. Your pup shifted into its wolf while still inside the womb" it was a lot to take in.
"How?" I managed to say.
"The only explanation I can think of is, your pup will become one of the most powerful wolfs to exist due to both it's parents being so powerful. Due to the amount of power it's caused it to shift. It's either that or there is something wrong with the pup causing it to shift early to protect itself. I'm sorry alpha this has never happened before so I really can't tell you" he seemed to helpless
"Thank you doctor. When can I see her?"
"Well at the moment she is asleep. The pup is back in its human form but we still need to wait till she heals. You are going to have to make sure she gets plenty of rest and doesn't do much work"
"Okay thank you" with that I walked down the corridor to the room my mates is in. A nurse was busy taking tests as I walked over to sit beside my sleeping mate. Her white hair sprawled out across the blue bed. Her torso was wrapped in a large bandage and wires were connected to her arms.
"Alpha she should be awake soon but Luna will have to stay here for a couple of days so we can take tests"
I just nodded my head and she left. I took Kitty's hand in mine and creased her swollen stomach. Hopefully my presence will keep the baby calm while she focuses on getting better. I leaned forward and kissed her cheak.
"Don't worry baby. I'm right here"
