                                                                             Chapter Six

Katherine couldn't concentrate on her school work. Why did George want to meet me at the janitor's room after school?? If he had to say something to me, he could've told me at school.. Maybe it's something private.. But why the Janitor's room? I guess I'll never find out unless I go..

Her heart beat fast as she walked towards the Janitor's room. I still think it's a bit weird.. If it was private, he could've said water fountain or something.. Katherine slowed down as she saw George standing outside the janitor's room. He was looking at the time..

"Um, hi.. Sorry I'm late.." she said.

"Oh, it's alright. As long as you came.." George assured.

"Uhm, so.. What was it you wanted to tell me or show me?" I asked nervously.

"I'll show you in a second. Just come here into the janitor's room." said George as he walked into the janitor's room.

"Why in there? What's wrong with out here?"

"Look, the sooner you come in here, the sooner I can show you the thing..."

"Alright then.." she said as she cautiously stepped inside the room.

George closed the door behind him, Alright! Now's the time to turn Katherine into a vampire! Finally! Then I'll go and tell Grandpa! He'll be proud of how I deceived her... He thought although in his heart, he knew that he would be guilty of betraying Katherine's trust..

He knew that the most commonly used way to turn normal humans into vampires was to cut the human's and the vampire's hand and press both hands together until they feel the blood flowing from one body to another. That was the way George was going to do it. So he got ready by taking out a piece of glass.

First he cut his hand and warned Katherine, "This might hurt a bit.." Then, he also cut Katherine's hand and pressed it against his.

" Ummm.. What is this for, George? Is this some kind of religious thing that you do..?" asked Katherine.

"Shhh... Don't talk or move. I'll explain to you once it's finished.."
