chapter 3

I made my way to the door, but a force stopped me.  "Judi doesn't want you to leave us Jasmin. She wants to play". 

I ran out of the room, just managing to get out. I ran downstairs to the basement. "Mum! Dad!". They were in the corner of the little room, just sitting there. They were twitching and had pale faces. "What happened?". I knew they wouldn't be able to answer. Mum was able to mutter just enough words. "Help, us. He did this to us". She pointed in a small corner, but all I could see was a tall dark shadow, just standing there.

"What are you?". My voice was trembling. The shadow turned into a figure, but soon that figure shape shifted into a girl, but then into a beast, and even into a young boy. I grabbed my parents and ran for the door but it slammed before I got to it. "Lily! help!". She didn't come. The shadow came towards me and whispered in my ear. "I need a body". It screeched and went off through the door.

I managed to find a crow bar and smash my way to an exit with mum and dad. "Lily! where are you?". I could see her standing on top of the staircase. She ran into my arms crying. "I'm sorry. Judi was controlling me". I was scared and didn't know what to do. What would you do if your mum and dad were scared, your sister was able to see the dead, and you were scared cause you knew what was inside your house?
