The sunlight was cut short as the large solid stone wall blocked out warmth from the cave. The main cave was dappled with shreds of the remaining sunlight. Further in many passages lead off deep into the cave, forming pitch black living spaces.

A shadow flickered in the depths of the cold stone, something was moving towards the entrance. Muffles paw steps shifted the dusty ground, fur brushed the dampened walls. a small black nose poked out of the enveloping shadows, highlighted strangely by the weak cave light. A pair of broad sandy colour paws thudded on the ground as the creature halted, similar in colour to the light covering of stone-dust around them. Thin black slits in the toes hid the claws which only peeked out of the sheaths at this moment. The wolf stepped closer to the entrance, it's bloodstained muzzle the same colour as his paws. Shimmers of pale ice blue eyes sliced through the everlasting dark easily, the pupils as sharp as their claws. Tinted with a purple glow from the pool which the shadowy light was reflected from. The wolf's head was a deep brown, checks and muzzle a lighter creamy colour. A deep red scar, as thin as a mouses tail, streaked over one of it's eyes. It's pelt was not clean, tufts of matted fur stuck out of his body, the back was clumped with claw marks and dried blood and ruffled in long streaks. A darker stripe across his back and paws set him into the pack, these markings were essential for surviving in this pack. Talon, the alpha male, stretched his long, muscular legs and stood back up. Dusky brown neck fur ruffled.

"Where are the pups?" He growled.
