Welcome to Breckenridge, a small town in Colorado with just under 3000 citiziens. This town lays at the foot of a hill. It’s well known in Colorado for its ghost stories and paranormal happenings. In the 19th centrury, something odd begun happening in Breckenridge. The amount of murders increased, but the odd thing about these murders was that some of the bodies were missing all blood, others seemed to be attacked by wolves and some just seemed to have no physical cause of death at all. People ignored it, until one certain night occured. It was a night with a full moon, a man was out late, just returning from a bar he had been at the whole evening. Whilst walking home, the man came across a suspicious person. I front of the eyes of the man, this person turned into a creature. This creature stared at the man, growling and showing his fangs. The man, although being drunk, realized this was not a regular wolf. Regular wolves don’t transform out of humans. The man had heard about these kind of creatures before. They were myths. Fictional creatures that people with too much fantasy created. Something you’d only find in books. In front of him stood a werewolf. The man couldn’t believe his eyes as he stared into those golden ones of the wolf. The man wanted to run, to scream, to get as far away from this creature as he could. No sound left his throat and his legs didn’t move an inch when he tried. It was as if the wolf had paralyzed him with the use of those golden eyes. The wolf growled and circled around the man, sniffing him as he did this. The man held his breath in fear, thinking that even the slightest annoyance to the wolf would cost him his head. The wolf sniffed, but eventually stopped and glared at the man with a look of disgust, after which he turned around and dissapeared into the woods.
The next day, the man gathered all citiziens to tell about this discovery that he had made. He told all the details of how the person transformed and growled and sniffed at him, looking ready to eat him. The man said that all the murders in which people seemed to be murdered by wolves were caused by these creatures, of which definitely more than just the one he encountered existed. A wise man suggested that the bloodless bodies that had been found were the doing of vampires, seeing as how everyone truly seemed to believe that these creatures existed. After some talking, the citiziens also came to the conclusion that the bodies of which no physical cause of death were found were caused by demons and witches. Thus, they decided to begin hunting these creatures before there would be too many to take care of.

Now, we find ourselves in the year 2009. Vampires, werewolves, demons and witches still exist and have even spread all over Colorado and other parts of America. Each race has formed several tribes and they all seem to be strictly against each other. Meanwhile the humans have developed their technology, making it even harder for the creatures to survive. You can feel the tension between every different race, so strongly that it’s causing people to feel like a war is coming up. The humans are very aware of this and are trying to avoid these creatures, seeing as how they would like to stay both human and alive. Unfortuanetely for the unlucky orphan Roxanne, she did not succeed in this as she walked down the streets late night, past an alley, where fate seemed to be awaiting her.
