Across the land

Critical Capture

The three of us all set off on our journey at different times. I was the first to leave Nuvema Town. Recently there was a huge Pokemon migration and tons of Pokemon native to other regions came to the Unova region. Mudkip had been on my hat just laying there since I got him. He seems pretty lazy and laid back. "Alright Mudkip, Let's get you a name."  All I got in response was a tired yawn. "Alright how about... Comma?"  Comma gave me a nod that came along with a smile. "Let's get going to Striaton City. We should probably hurry though, We still have to go through Accumula town. "  Then I tripped over something in the tall grass. There were two little antennae popping up out. I pulled out the pokedex Juniper gave to me and tried to identify it, all it showed me was its name, Goomy. It must be native to another region. Then Comma jumped down from my hat and tackled it. Comma used so much force it sent it flying into a tree. When it fell to the ground I saw it was a yellow-ish colored blob with purple cheeks. I scolded Comma and told  him wait for orders next time and walked over to the blob and give it an Oran berry. It consumed the berry whole! "Would you like to join my team?" I asked as I held out a Pokeball. The response must've been yes because it basically took the ball out of my hand and stayed in. I immediately sent him out and when he came out his yellow skin seemed to sparkle in the sunlight. "Is that yours?" I heard. I flipped around to see Rose standing right behind me with Ralts behind her legs hiding. "Yeah why?" I respond "Some guy was throwing it around like a rag doll, he might've been... Abusing it." Her voice seemed to trail off. I shivered and mumbled, "That's why it so willingly let me capture it?" "Oh my Arceus is that a shiny Goomy!" I look around to see that Chester had snuck up behind us with his Bulbasaur and a pokeball in his hand. I quickly jump in front of of Goomy and shout, "I already caught him... and what's a shiny?" Chester adjusts his glasses and lectures, "A shiny is a Pokemon that has a different color palette, they are extremely rare and that's probably the only one your ever going to see in your entire life, although I am quite jealous of you for capturing it." "I'm gonna name him Toothless because from the looks of it he doesn't have any teeth." It made some some sort of noise which I'm assuming is an okay. When the three of us made it to Accumula town, Rose sat on a bench and then immediately stood back up and shouted "We should battle!" Chester and I glanced at each other and I questioned, "There's three of us how's that gonna work?" "Well we'll have to find a fourth" Right after that she immediately tuts around and asks the first person she sees for a battle, The mysterious figure which I couldn't make out at the time must of agreed because they were walking close enough to where I could see him. He was a tall boy probably fifteen or sixteen, so about three or four years older than us, with a simple black and white cap, jeans, a strange necklace with a cube at a weird angle and long fluffy green hair. A/N: Sorry I haven't been active in like almost a year I've had a lot going on and I really hope you guys can understand so yeah, also I was thinking of making Michael become a shiny hunter let me know if I should make him a gym battler or a shiny hunter or...Both!?!
