I see you

Chapter 3

Jake shows up an hour later. I get up and give him a hug then go sit back down. Seth stands up to greet Jake. Jake just nods at him then sits next to me. I smiles at Seth then at Jake. "Jake please be nice to him." I whisper to him. He looks at me confused then makes a lovey dovey face to me. I laugh and elbow him in his side then he picks me up and throws me on the couch. I laugh and then we start wrestling and soon we end up hitting Seth. 

Seth joins in then its every man for himself with us three. Jake throws me and Seth then we land on each other. I'm on top of Seth and he's looking at me. I blush and get off of him quickly then my dad wheels in. "Dinner is ready you three. So get in here!" Dad wheels in after us and we all run into the kitchen yelling and running from our dad. We all laugh and sit down. I pass the plates around and pass the food for everyone. I kiss dad on his cheek, "Thanks for dinner dad."

Seth sees and he smiles at me. Jake sees Seth smiling at me then nudges him. "Don't get any ideas, she's still my little sister." They both laugh and I smile then sit down. "It's baked fish with honey, maple and brown sugar. Jake laughs and shakes his head then we all eat. "This is really good sir. How'd you come up with it?" Seth says and looks at my dad. "Well Jacob and Mira were little when I left the room with the fish on the counter. They wanted to be little chefs and help me with dinner so they grabbed the honey and maple and brown sugar then threw it in there. Ever since that day its been my specialty." dad says to him. 

We all finish dinner and I grab up the plates to wash them. "I got it." Seth says and grabs the plates from me washing the dishes. I grab the wet plates and dry them, putting them back where they belong. We finish with the dishes and he walks to the door."Wait, Seth!" I call after him. He turns around and looks. "It's dark and I don't know if you should go out there. What if something happens to you?" He looks at me and smiles "I'll be alright Mira. See you soon." He says and walks out the door.

I walk into my room to see Jacob on my bed. He gets up and laughs "oh so worried about someone you just met Mira." I look at him and sake my head. "You know I get worried about everyone Jake." I hug him and shove him out my room. "Goodnight Jake." I say and shut the door. Maybe I am worried about him. So what if I just met him, we're friends. Maybe Jake should get his brain checked. I laugh and go to sleep.
