Cat Violinist

It was dark standing on the stage and I could hear the people in the audience talking quietly among  themselves while the stage manager tried to set the microphones up in the dark while we stood back and watched, because I could see in the dark, I have cat eye sight, when I was little my family were killed and I was stolen and sold into a research lab to test out new ways to make super soldiers to win wars, I was the only successful project, all the others who were tested on died from the chemicals, because of this, this is the reason they named me "eclipse" cause an eclipse dosn't happen often.

When the lights came on I was ready for the welcoming light that felt warm on my face. I started to play could feel the room melting away with my adopted sister Eva next to me on my left with her unusual instrument (she called it a "guitar") and it had a very unique sound, with her and the backup instruments The Harp, piano and a backup violinist to help me we would play a song that no one would forget.  Eva started first with her instrument, The sounds echoing off the walls in an eerie sweeping sound that brought every ones attention to us in awe, we started to play in a rhythmic harmony to each other playing our song to the crowd. after we played our song for the night i noticed that a young boy that looked to be at least 12 or 13, a noble, maybe, by the look of his clothes and his butler he was very wealthy, as he walked through the crowd to a chair near the stage  they all parted like he was a sickness. Eva and i started to pick up our gear working leisurely, the noble boy with his butler in his shadow following closely like a crow waiting to prey upon the small noble, the little noble boy walked straight up to the stage and called out in a intimidating voice " what is your name?" i thought twice about answering him with attitude but came to the conclusion that i would give this brat a little bit of attitude due to his arugence, "WHATS IT TO YOU?" i yelled out, he looked at me in shock, obviously shocked at my harsh tone of voice, his butler just smirked a seriously creepy smirk and continued to stare.

he blankly stared at me and I stared back until he snapped out of it and snapped back "who do you think you are to give me attitude?!" I could see he was going a bit red in the face trying to keep his anger in check, I just giggled and smirked deviously "well give me attitude I give it back but better" again all I got was a blank stare from him and a smirk from the butler, after such without a word they went and sat in the front row and sat in silence while the band packed up their instruments and I preformed our second song solo.

as the song echoed off the walls all was silent as I played, this is my favorite part of the night where all eyes are on me wide with awe, but all that doesn't matter because when the music takes me my eyes close and my mind is filled with happy memories of my family, tears stream down my face as sadder memories flood my mind and a sadder tune leaves my violin and echo's through the hall, I hear nothing, I see nothing. I just let my music and soul flow free until I finish.

the lights swell from a dark slowly turning light till fully bright, I take a deep breath and center myself opening my eyes I look on into the crowd, all is silent as I look on then the boy and his shadow butler start clapping breaking the spell on the audience, a loud thundering applaud roars from them as they rise from their seats, I bow and leave the stage right as the applauds get louder.

everyone backstage looked stunned as the manager urges me to do an encore, I look back at the stage and notice the piano, I put my violin down and walk back out as the crowd throws roses on stage, I make a B-line  for the microphone and confidently speak "do you want another song?" the applaud roars on, I bow slightly and walk up to the piano, I take my seat and open the cover marveling at how pearly white the keys are, I take a deep breath as I lightly touch the keys starting my next song 'hmm maybe a more upbeat song? or a moodier one?' I asked myself. deciding to hit them with feelings again I play a love song.

when the song comes to an end again the audience is entranced to my music another roar of applauds swells and once again I take a bow and walk off stage right not noticing the boy and his butler walking back stage following me.

I walk to my dressing room and change then put away the instruments I borrowed, as I was sitting brushing my long wavy blue hair a knock on my door startles me out of my tired daze and a smooth voice speaks out "excuse me miss but may we have a moment?" I sit in silence not really registering what has been said "uhh.....yea?" and once again the boy and his butler walks in to pester me. "what is it you want?" I ask "i wish to ask you some questions, my name is ciel phantomhive and this is my butler Sebastian, I am investigating the mysterious murders and thefts by the Cat Burglar and I wish to know if you have anything to do with the murders " he asked looking very serious.

I thought to myself trying to keep a natural face but panicking internally 'SHIT!!?? WHAT THE HELL he sure figured it out quickly!' and replied calmly "i don't read the news because you never know what's fake or reality, so no I haven't a clue about any murders why do am I being questioned when I have only been here a week or so?" 

Ciel looked to his butler with an unreadable expression but otherwise looked pleased but still suspicious of me 'and so he should be suspicious cause I did kill those people! haha they deserved it'....then there was a silent moment that seemed to last forever then he spoke.."well that's was all i'm sure we'll meet again miss......uh I apologies but what was your name?" 

"My name Eclipse earl Phantomhive i'm pleased to finally meet the queens guard dog" I said slyly with a small smile as I walk out of the room leaving him speechless and gaping like a fish I just laughed internally cause he obviously didn't expect me to actually know who he is..........'till next time little earl! cause I am sure we will meet again'
