Good Evening Trainers and Battle Fans! This is your host Charles Goodshow and today we have some special guests here for the coverage of the Ash Ketchum Memorial Tournament. Our two special guests are the champions of the Sinnoh and Johto regions Cynthia and Lance!

"It is a pleasure to be here Mr.Goodshow and Lance." Cynthia said.

"Likewise, I hope we can give a great discussion from the matches we have seen earlier today and yesterday." Lance said.

"Speaking of discussions Lance how about we start things off with the local trainer of Kalos Alain?" Mr. Goodshow switching the screen behind him featuring Alain's accomplishments.

"Yes, he is quite the formidable trainer and is considered the local favorite to win it all." Lance said.

"I couldn't have agreed more Lance, since his involvement with defeating Team Flare, and winning the Kalos league defeating Ash Ketchum in the finals is definitely someone not to be trifled with." Cynthia said.

"With his extensive knowledge of Mega evolutions under his belt Alain has easily swept through the first two rounds with ease and very likely will do the same." Mr. Goodshow said.

"Alain's signature Pokémon Charizard is the major powerhouse of his team and with the ability to mega evolve into Mega Charizard X. Even if trainers were able to manage to take him down Alain still has noteworthy Pokémon on his team to clean up the situation." Mr. Goodshow said.

"Of course, With Pokemon such as Bisharp with the Guillotine move can give Alain the edge he needs to close battles when it is necessary." Cynthia commented.

"Finally you have his Metagross and Tyranitar which they both have been in various battles and are very likely not to fall so easily in the tournament. Lance said.

"My, Alain is definitely a competent trainer we will expect to see sweep through the tournament towards the end. Now for our next trainer he hails all the way from Cynthia's home region and his name is Paul." Mr. Goodshow pressed the remote to feature the purple haired trainer.

"Ah yes, he brings a lot of interesting memories during my early travels. He is definitely a trainer that will bring in a lot of pull to get through the tournament." Cynthia commented.

"I couldn't agree more Cynthia; Paul's unique battle strategies have gotten him many victories in the past. Recently I heard he defeated a previous victor of the Sinnoh league a year ago in attempted to take the title of champion." Lance said.

"You are right Lance, though both of them still need training to be able to take my title. Personally, Paul has a better chance to take the title from me. Due to a previous rival's influence during his early travels, Paul was able to beat the Kanto Frontier King Brandon himself." Cynthia said.

"Ah yes, I remember hearing about this and was very surprised. Brandon has only been beaten by another trainer but sadly he is not here among the living." Mr. Goodshow said holding his breath.

The room was silent for a bit...

"Any who, our next two trainers hail from the Hoenn region and they are Harrison and Tyson."

"Harrison and Tyson are both Hoenn natives but traveled to other regions competing in different leagues. Harrison came in the top 4 in the Johto league while Tyson became the victor of the Hoenn league." Lance said.

"Correct! These two trainers have their own unique strategies towards battle. Harrison's Pokémon usually prefer a close quarters combat strategy with some stealth involved in surprising his opponents." Mr. Goodshow said.
