Santana sat in the back of the classroom. It has been her seat for the past 3 years. This was her third time repeating her senior year at McKinley, but this year was different. She could feel it, there was a new teacher named Ms. Pierce she had heard. That was all she had heard so she just hoped that this teacher would be different. Santana was on the Cheerios, McKinley's award winning cheerleading squad, coached by Coach Sue. The Cheerios ruled McKinley and Santana was at the very top. As Santana sat in the back of the classroom, she couldn't stop thinking about the new teacher. What if Ms. Pierce was beautiful and Santana fell for her? Or even worse, what if Ms. Pierce was gay to? That would make everything even more tempting. "What am I doing?" Santana thought to herself. "I haven't even seen her yet, don't get ahead of yourself Santana." And at that very moment, Ms. Pierce entered the room. She was beautiful, the most beautiful person Santana had ever seen. "Hello everyone! I am Ms. Brittany Pierce, but it's Ms. Pierce to you." She said, enthusiasm coming out of her mouth. "I know some of you struggle more than others in this class, but as your math teacher I am here to help you." Everyone turned around at looked at Santana, knowing that she was the struggling person. "I am going to ask those who struggle to stay here with me after class for a few minutes and I can get to know where you need the most help. This is a self assessment for you to fill out. Please pass it in one when you are done." Santana did as the class was told and finished as the bell rang. She handed in her paper and stopped for a second to look at Ms. Pierce while she was looking down at the papers she was receiving. Santana started to walk away when she heard Ms. Pierce call her back over to her desk. "Ms. Lopez, a quick word?" she said happily. "I have heard you are out of the closet, and I want you to know that I am still in the closet. And this is majorly inappropriate but I have my eye on you. A teacher to student relationship is illegal but I can tell there is something about you." She frowned. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that it was completely inappropriate. You should just know I've always been very open about my feelings. You should go and I will see you in class tomorrow." Ms. Pierce said. "Wait Ms. Pierce I am really not very open about my feelings, but if your brave enough to say that, you should know I feel the same exact way." Santana said. "You can call me Brittany." Ms. Pierce said. Santana smiled and walked out of the room. A permanent smile plastered on her face.
