Mabel's POV

"WHAT! They're not hereeee," I complained.

Wendy scratched her chin, "Hah maybe they were too scared and went somewhere else."

And then the worst feeling comes in.

Realization hit me. I failed Dipper. He wanted to get away cause I did what I wanted, not what he, nor Pacifica, wanted.

Maybe I should just let them do their own things.

"I think we should just leave them alone," I suggested.

"What! Why?" Pacifica's dad asked.

"It's my fault they left and they deserve to have a good time."

The Northwests nodded in understanding.

The whole walk back was eerily silent.

Pacifica's POV

Wow! What a day.

"Hey, let's grab something to eat!" I suggested.

Dipper held my hand the whole time we walked to the eating area.

"What would you like to eat? It's on me," Dipper said.

"I'm pretty sure I should be paying for it," I replied.

"You don't even have any money with you right now," he chuckled.

Oh yeahhh. My parents payed for the food at Lazy Susan's.

"Fine," I grumbled playfully.

Dipper faced the cashier and asked for two pizzas and a milkshake with two straws.

Oh. This is so cliche.

The food came about a few minutes later and I grabbed my pizza. Dipper was holding his pizza and the milkshake. After roaming around a bit, we found a place to sit.

Dipper's POV

We sat down and talked about anything and everything. I told her about my scar on my forehead. She told me about her failing relationship with her parents.

I guess we found true refuge in each other. (a/n: cliche isn't it? soz if I ruined the moment)

Although it was awkward at first, we shared the milkshake happily.

I looked out the clock in the distance. It was 3:47. We've been here for almost 4 hours!

"I think we should go now," I told Pacifica.

"Alright. I had fun today. When can we do something like this again?"

"Eventually. But for now, let's worry about telling Mabel and your parents what happened."
