There was a new girl that came sometime around when Alex and Allison started developing feelings for each other, her name was Jane. Jane was a dark, but very peppy girl. Her voice was very high pitched, almost like a child, except for when she was serious. Jane and Alex met and Jane...Started to develop feelings for Alex.... Katherine was also friends with Jane, since she was the one who invited her to sit at the table with her and her friends. Anyways, since her and Jane were friends, Katherine supported them, Jane never actually said she liked Alex, But you could tell. Jane liked to play a game titled Truth or Dare, and so did Alex's friends. One day, Alex is playing truth or dare with his friends and they dare him to ask Jane out. So, he did. And she said yes. After a short while they broke up, not much happened at all, Katherine was oblivious to them dating thinking that Alex actually liked Jane. She didn't even think about the dare. Katherine was really lonely because both of them had left her while they were dating, they were both kind of the only people she hung out with at the time. So then Katherine started hanging out with her other friends. One of them named Hanzo. Katherine really looked up to Hanzo, she was so cool! Katherine also had a little crush on Her but not as big as the one she had on Alex at the time...
When Jane and Alex broke up everything was back to normal, or in Katherine's eyes at least, the three of them started hanging out together again. Then Alex's birthday came around. And during lunch his friend Rodrigo dared him to kiss Jane. It was so dramatic because Alex didn't want to do it and everyone was screaming. But in the end, he did. Jane turned a bright red. He had only kissed her on the cheek, but it was still really surprising to everyone. You see, Rodrigo had whispered the dare into Alex's ear, so nobody knew what the dare was until he did it. It was quite shocking.
Lunch ended. and after advisory Katherine had History with Alex. They had a substitute. So instead of sitting in his assigned seat, Alex moved and sat next to Katherine. She was so happy that they were sitting together! They talked mostly through class just talking about whatever, this was sometime after he and Allison broke up, so he was still healing. After talking for a while they start talking about their feelings. Katherine then learns that Alex...Did....Like her in sixth grade... And she missed her chance... Because he loved another... She was jealous of Allison and Jane.. They were probably so happy once they started dating... And Katherine was just there....Watching..... The substitute starts talking and we both look at him listening. just then Alex leans over to Katherine and whispers in her ear "I think you're cute". Katherine get's shudders down her spine from the words she just heard... How does he think she's cute..? and why..? if anything Katherine thought herself to be disgusting. What about her is cute...? She wondered these things in her head... then he says "you know...I've kissed Allison and Jane..But i haven't kissed you..." The words shocked Katherine. is he saying he wants to kiss her...? Joy runs through her at the thought. Does he like her? Is this just a joke? He then asks if he can kiss her...She wanted him to..but..She felt it would be kind of wrong...Since her best friend had a crush on him..she didn't want to betray Jane...So she said no..He kind of Said please..and..she said yes..But, Alex couldn't do it because there were too many people around..And Katherine had to go because she didn't want to make her parents wait for her for too long to take her home...So Alex went to Football practice and Katherine went home... Alex said that he would kiss her on Monday since it was Friday..Katherine was so happy through that weekend...She thought that Alex would never like her back..But turns out...He did...Near the end of sixth grade to then..when he decided to confess...He never did kiss her though. Katherine just forgot about it since she figured he was just saying things..He said he was still in love with Allison so..She tried not to think too much about it..
Then comes around the next story.... Katherine's confusion with how he feels for her...She didn't know what to think...
