Scenario:
After finding out that c/n has another family member and they've made contact, you either follow c/n to ask more, or return to your table and tell everyone else.
If you were only sitting with one person at lunch, you sit alone (obviously). From there do you decided to follow c/n to question them further, or do you stay at the table and eat your food.
