When Kazuto has a dream about a real life VRMMO, he is immediately sent into Ordinal Scale.
This is a fanfic of the SAO movie coming out next year "Ordinal Scale". I highly recommend you go check out the series.
"Hello and welcome to Ordinal Scale" The Siri voice says. I awake in a blank white room with an image in the middle, on it a green hexagon. "Your first step to becoming an Ordinal Scale master is to find find this in your room" the voice says while an arrow points at the hexagon. I suddenly realise I can't say anything back, and it strikes me with confusion, where am I and who's talking to me? I try to say something... It doesn't work, I try once again, it still doesn't work. Maybe I should go louder.
I scream out, only to find myself in my bedroom, sweating and my blankets and pillow thrown on the floor. What just happened? My sister Suguha Walks into my room. "You ok"? She asks with a worried look on my face. ( picture below)

"Yeah, I-its nothing" I reply. "Well school starts in an hour so get ready" she tells me. "Ok, I'll do that" I say She leaves the room and I'm left alone. It's than that I see a pin on my bedside table, it takes the form of a green hexagon. I lean in to touch it, and when I do I hear a voice in my head. "Well done you have completed the first step in playing Ordinal Scale. Now go outside and see what happens." I get ready and go outside, I'm surrounded by a pack of holographic monsters ready to engage in battle with me. Things just got weird.
I'm eating breakfast and suddenly hear a scream from kazutos room, I go upstairs and see what happened. He's sweating and his pillows are tossed aside. I ask him if he's ok. apparently he is, but I know somethings up, if he's not gonna ask then I won't force him.
