"Beep! Beep!"
The shrill of my alarm rang through the room, disturbing the silence and awakening me from my peaceful slumber. The only thought that ran through my mind was that we had school today and how dreadful it seemed especially due to the fact that last period would be PE.
After pampering myself and showering I roamed into my walk in closet to look for something intriguing that shouted "importance!!!" Deciding upon some shorts and a tight shirt, I looked for a pair of heels. There was so much to choose; from Jimmy choo to Louboutin. Not one satisfied what I was looking for and with that I scheduled my driver to fit in some time to drive me to the mall after school but for the time being I had to wear black. Lets be honest what does black not go with?
I applied my makeup and went downstairs. A note was left on the table top; "Had to leave early to organise another event. Remember to attend the charity event down at the orphanage."
No "Have a good day", no "I love you", just down to business as normal, I made my own breakfast along with a smoothie because apparently getting a cook portrays laziness and that is something that is looked down upon in this stupid society.

Luciano held the door open for me as I slid into the back seat of that car.
"How are you madam?" He asked me. He didn't really care. Well I assume he didn't anyway. It was only so that he kept his job that he acted like he did.
"I'm great, How are you?"
"I'm good" and with that he started driving and all that was left was the buzz of the radio. The car stopped outside the main gates.
Students bustled towards the school doors racing to get to registration in time. Whilst others sauntered inside wondering why on Earth we had to suffer so much at such an ungodly hour. As I strutted in I was welcomed with the white walls that contrasted against the colours of the posters that hung around. Each advertising different clubs and auditions for plays and bands and so on."Mckayla!" Someone shouted behind me. "Wait up!" I turned around to meet a stunning blond who goes by the name Tiana. Her hair flowed behind her as her heels slammed against the floor announcing she had arrived. Her top had risen up to the point you could see the tattoo she had gotten in a rebellious act to annoy her mother. None the less she still looked amazing.
"Hey. I feel like I haven't spoken to you in time even though we had spoken last night..." She rambled on yet I wasn't paying attention because this is how everyday went. The same conversation at the same time of day and for what? Just for a little bit of attention. It's all the girl craved.
"Yh girl it seems like I haven't seen you in time. Oh well your here now aren't you? And your hair; it looks beautiful, you've had extensions in haven't you?" Theres no way in hell this girls hair is naturally that long and the fact she wanted to pass on the idea that her hair grew that much over a weekend was hilarious. Her smile dropped and if looks could kill I would've been long gone because the glare getting sent in my direction was something else all together.
"Drop the act Mckayla, no need to be jealous of what you can't achieve" she dropped the volume of her voice so only I could hear her.
"Tiana I hope that isn't a challenge because we all know that you will be put to shame so much that you wouldn't be able to show your face any more." I retaliated knowing full well that she would back down. Her gaze fell to the floor in defeat and she walked away in annoyance, knowing full well she could never win. And that people is what I call my best friend. Yeah I know, the love we share is inspirational(!).After the whole fiasco that had occurred I walked towards my locker to get my books and strided towards my first lesson; English.

"Today we will be learning about shakespeare and the underlying themes presented in his plays..." The teacher droned on. The ticking of the clock was all I could focus on as I willed for the time to speed up so that I could leave the lesson and go to Art. Yet only two minutes had passed and the third seemed to pass slower than the second. As I stared at my nails, contemplating what colour I should get done next, the door slammed against the wall violently. A boy with ruffled brown hair and blue eyes strolled into the classroom. His eyes scanned the room, taking in the surroundings and fixated on the teacher, who was fuming that an individual had disturbed his lesson. The boy mumbled an excuse to the teacher, who then directed the student to take a seat. The only seat left being the one next to me.
