*Gabby's P.O.V*

I woke up, throbbing from pain. My eyes were still blurry as fuck. Why Richard? My vision was starting to get better and a few minutes after, my vision was good. I started to look around and saw that I wasn't on the floor, I was on a couch. My brother walks in with a glass of water and sat next to me.

'Hey there, sis.'

'Huh? Where am I? Where's Richard? What happened? What time is it? Oh, Hi Joe...'

'You're in my apartment. I drove you here. You were knocked out by that bastard. I just couldn't let you stay there and deal with his bullshit, so I took you here.'

I was speechless. My dad, Richard never punched me that hard until now. Why was he so angry? I could hear Richard's voice in my head, saying comments that happened a few hours ago. Like you're worthless, just like your mother, always acting like a bitch, no one will ever love you for the thing you do. The thoughts were ringing in my head over and over again. I tried to block all the messages, like I always do but most of the time, it never worked and it worked this time

'Sis, sis? Are you ok?'

'Yea, just had some thoughts. Hey, about you're girlfrie-'

'Its ok, I asked her and its ok. She knows the story. By the way, it's Tuesday. I just can't let you go to school today. The bruises are just too horrible. Im keeping you in here until you're all good to go. If you want to stay for a bit longer, thats ok by me.'

'Thanks Joe. You always know how to cheer me up.'

He smiled 'Anything for you Gabby.' and walked away.

*Richard's P.O.V*

'GODAMMIT! I LOST HER!'

I slammed my fist against the wall. Godammit Joe, why did you have to take that bitch to your home? She's fine with me. I needed something to distract me, so I dawdled to the fridge, opened it and saw that there was no more beer. I slammed the fridge door. I need Gabriella back, things were so much easier in the house with her.

Suddenly I had a lightbulb go off in my head. Joe told me the address of his apartment. Yes, I can go to his apartment and steal Gabriella. I turn around and walk into the bedroom and search for the post-it-note. In an instant, I found it. I walk out of the room and grab my keys to the car. I stopped dead in my tracks and turn around to grab my phone. I call Joe, and no reply. Voice mail came and i gave them a warning message.

'I'm not long to get you Gabriella. I'm coming to find you. Joe, you too. You guys beware I'm coming whether you want me to or not! If you fucking call the police, when I see you, I'll murder you!'

I end the voicemail and walk towards my car. And turn on the engine.

'Beware Gabriella, You're in deep shit. Im coming to get you whether you want me to or not.'

And I drove off in a hurry.

*Joe's P.O.V*

Gabriella is up and walking around the apartment, enjoying one bit of it. Suddenly, I get a call from my father. I ignore it and a notification about Richard on voicemail. I open the voicemail and a disturbing message comes up.

'I'm not long to get you Gabriella. I'm coming to find you. Joe, you too. You guys beware I'm coming whether you want me to or not! If you fucking call the police, when I see you, I'll murder you!'

I shiver from the disturbing message. I think for a bit and send a message to Eliza (my girlfriend)

Joe: I have to go away from town. My father is coming for Gabby and I. And we don't know where to go.

Instantly Eliza replied.

Eliza: Oh k, tell Gabby to pack her things, U as well. I'll book the first flight to Darwin for us three. My family lives in Darwin. We can go there. You'll be safe there.

Joe: that sounds like a good idea. When is the next flight to Darwin tho?

Eliza: I've just checked and I've booked for the 2:30pm Flight. My shift ends in 5 minutes. So I'll see u in 10.

Joe: Thanks Babe. Love You.

I immediately turn off my phone and I call Gabby into the room and she skips into the room. Gosh I really don't want to ruin her mood.

'Gabby, this is urgent! Please Listen to me. Richard is coming to pick you up. I just cannot let you go back with that bastard,

She shivered and also close to tears 'What am I gonna do now?'

'You'll be flying with my girlfriend and I to Darwin. Quick, Pack your bags. We're leaving in 30 minutes!

She gave me an unpleasing face but agreed. She nodded and quickly ran and packed her bags. I sighed and went into my room to pack up my things. When suddenly, I hear an ear-Piercing scream come out of nowhere. I run to Gabriella and she is alright. She tenses up and asks who is it. Then I realise it's Eliza.

'Oh Shit'
